However, it is most intriguing because it’s a PlayStation VR title. What does the story hold? and will it contain the same deep world building define so many Fromsoftware games? Deracine arrives on November 6, so it won’t be long before we find out.

Red Dead Redemption 2 All Cheat Codes for PS4 & XBOX with Guide [Updated]

As any of the Previous Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption 2 initially comes with cheat codes support for a little bit of fun in the gameplay and equipped with an in-game cheat code menu.
The cheat code menu is fully functional, allowing players to activate incredibly handy or just plain silly parameters. Below, we’ve gathered some of the game’s cheat codes and, when appropriate, the conditions for unlocking them.

How to use cheat codes in RDR 2

Red Dead Redemption 2 Cheats menu

The cheat code menu can be found in the settings tab of the in-game pause menu. Triggering a cheat code requires inputting a specific phrase in the cheat menu. In some cases, a cheat code won’t activate until certain mission-based goals have been met.

NOTE: You should know that activating any cheat code disables Achievements/Trophies for your save file. Best to make a separate save file for cheat use if you don’t want to screw up your main game.

Cheat Codes and their use

Permanent Inebriation

“A fool on command”

By entering the cheat code “A fool on command”, players unlock the Drunk toggle like in GTA 4 ;).  As its name infers, flipping the toggle on will make Arthur Morgan permanently drunk. Flipping the toggle off will instantly sober Arthur back up, no coffee or cold showers required.

Insta-Horse

“Better than my dog”

If you’re not sufficiently bonded with your horse, keeping it close by can be hard. However, the cheat code “Better than my dog” will summon your horse to you no matter where it is. If you’re caught up in other activities and can’t be bothered to backtrack for your steed, this code really helps.

Good as New

“You flourish before your die”

In a game as realistic as Red Dead Redemption 2, a prolonged strenuous activity can take its toll. Fortunately, the “You flourish before your die” cheat is just the pick-me-up you need in such situations. Using the cheat instantly refills Arthur Morgan’s stat cores, including health, stamina, and deadeye.

Walking Arsenal

“Greed is American Virtue”

If you want to just go out and cause some chaos, the “Greed is American Virtue” cheat is for you. Entering the cheat instantly adds the Pump-Action Shotgun, Mauser Pistol, Semi-Automatic Pistol, and Bolt-Action Rifle to your inventory handful of important weapons. Despite, the cheat won’t trigger until after you’ve finished the Chapter 3 mission “Advertising, the New American Art.” Head into the town of Rhodes, grab a newspaper, and the cheat will be enabled.

Insta-Horse 2.0

“Run! Run! Run!”

Sure, your default horse is nice, but what if you want a brand new horse? Enter the cheat code “Run! Run! Run!” and your wish will be granted. Even better, the horse you spawn is a racehorse tuned for speed. If you want to zip around the map without relying on fast-travel, this is the way to do it.

Never-Ending Lead

“Abundance is the dullest desire”

Running out of an ammo can be a real pain, especially when you’re in the middle of a tense firefight. Luckily, you need no longer worry when you use the “Abundance is the dullest desire” cheat. Activating the cheat triggers unlimited ammo for all of your weapons. To earn the cheat, you have to first reach Chapter 2 and pick up a newspaper in Valentine.

Comment Below if the cheat codes are working for you. Also, if you found any cheat codes around the world while roaming the beautiful world in RDR 2. Post the cheat codes below in the Comments and we will update the article.

Just Cause 4 – overhauled Supply Drops in new Trailer

Avalanche released a new spotlight video for Just Cause 4 Supply Drops. In this video, we get to see the new supply drop mechanic closelyJust Cause 4 Supply Drops. In contrast to past approaches, these supply drops will form an even bigger gameplay support in form of progression and more. Here is the trailer!

Vehicles

The number of vehicles alone that you can get delivered has reached an imposing total of 104. About 6 weeks left for Just Cause 4 to arrive on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Avalanche is continuing with their Spotlight video series of presenting game aspects and mechanics in greater detail. The newest video focuses on supply drops which might sound a bit boring but seeing the extensive overhaul the mechanic has received, it’s anything but.

The new aspects of these supply drops are more interesting, however, as they include their own progression system together with unlocks. By completing missions, conquering areas and raising the chaos-meter, all kinds of new gear gets unlocked for players to use in supply drops.

New modes of supply drop

Not only the contents but the way they are delivered can be upgraded as well. Ways such as marking his reflection in mirrors and other surfaces.

Hitman 2 is set for release on November 13 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Fix, Updates, Increased Player Count

While the duos player count goes up, the quads player count is actually decreasing from 100 to 88. It’s a bit of a role reversal as Treyarch/Beenox continue to investigate any potential latency or stability issues with the 100-player mode. At least this should mean squad wins are a little more achievable, reducing the total number of teams competing from 25 down to 22.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Fix, Updates, Increased Player Count

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is currently working in some strange sphere where it’s out but it’s not the finished article yet, particularly in the regards to its Battle Royale-style Blackout mode. Treyarch continues to roll out patches at a steady clip as it addresses fan issues, with the latest COD BLOPS 4 shunting the COD: Black Ops 4 – Blackout duos player count from 88 up to a nice round 100.

The rest of the changes in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Oct. 16 update aren’t quite as interesting, although there are a whole bunch of stability improvements for PC players. This fixes some wide-ranging crash issues such as during an initial boot when disconnecting from a Blackout match, when browsing items, or when changing texture quality. Basically, COD: Black Ops 4 crashes a lot, and this patch should mean it does it a whole lot less.

Stability improvements (PC)

  • Fixed a crash occurring during the initial boot of the game for some users.
  • crashes while disconnecting from a Blackout match is fixed.
  • Fixed a crash occurring when multiple windows were broken simultaneously in a Blackout match.
  • crashes while browsing unlockable Items is fixed
  • Fixed crashes occurring when changing texture quality.
  • Improved handling of “Out of Memory” errors.

Multiplayer

  • TDM playlist now supports parties of 6 (was previously 5).
  • Featured playlist changed to Heist.
  • Custom Search and Destroy games will now correctly conclude after one team wins 6 rounds total, fixing an issue where custom games previously ended at round 7.
  • Addressed a crash caused by earning multiple Medals in a match.

Blackout

  • 100-Players Duos is now the Featured playlist for Blackout.
  • Quads playlist is now 88 maximum players. We’re continuing to update various game settings to ensure the best experience for all players across all platforms and modes

Miscellaneous

  • “Object View Distance” setting now properly renders objects further on “High” than on “Low” in Blackout

Zombies

  • Addressed a UI error caused by losing Internet connection in split screen.
  • Addressed an issue that caused Hellhounds to exhibit some very… un-doglike behavior

General

  • General stability improvements and crash fixes.
  • The Featured playlist tiles for Multiplayer and Blackout have changed. This is part of the regular rotation of Featured playlists – more details to come on how Featured playlists will work in Black Ops 4 in a separate update

Things We Know About Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption 2’s release is just about here and we’ve put together a list of things you may want to know before jumping into this giant big open world. Here are 10 Things We Know About Red Dead Redemption 2.

Gang

Things We Know About Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption 2 follows the Vanderlin gang after a heist goes wrong this forces them to go on the run trying to avoid the lawmen and bounty hunters. With all this going on the gang starts to face some tension and the threat of the game disbanding starts to get more and more real. This isn’t concrete but it’s safe to assume that we get to see the gang fall apart. And maybe even see John Marston break away from the gang or getting captured by the feds.

I think it’s also safe to assume that we’ll see the black border Massacre as well seeing that it has been talked about heavily in Red Dead Redemption 1 and the timing lines up.

Different Angle

When GTA 5 launched on PS4 Rockstar made it so you could play the entire game and first-person. It made the game feel surprisingly different just from changing the camera angle. And in the red dead 2 Rockstar made the same move by making the entire game playable in first-person.

It’s anything like GTA 5, it definitely doesn’t control like a first-person shooter. But it’s still 100% playable. We’ve only got a little bit of footage of it so far, and from that little bit I’ve seen I can tell you that I’m definitely gonna mess around with it for a little bit.

Gang’s Moral

Not only is your gang a huge part of the narrative in Red Dead 2 but it’s also a big part of the gameplay as well. it’s your job to keep gang morale up. Your camp is something that you can invest in as well with time and money. Donating money to the camp will give you the ability to upgrade it later on and you’re also able to go out and chop wood or even go hunting for food to add to the camp supply.

You can, of course, interact with everyone at your camp with the camp morale affecting how they respond to you. Keeping morale up is definitely a good idea because your gang members can give you leads on new money-making opportunities, and they’re also able to join you in the open world as a backup.

Map & Towns

As expected Red Dead 2 takes place in a living breathing world with a map filled with things to do and places to explore. You have frontier towns like Valentine which is your typical looking western as a town. Then you have cities like Saint-Denis, then you have a Bayou town, then, of course, is Blackwater and some other smaller towns mixed in. With wilderness and other biomes all in between, each town city and settlement will also be home to their own cast of townsfolk and exercise activities like poker.

GTA 5’s Los Santos felt very populated in like a real living City and I’m sure Red Dead 2 is going to feel even more lived-in than that.

Horse

Your horse is way more than just a way to get around this time. In Red Dead 2 you actually build up a bond with your horse and you have to take care of it. The more you take care of your horse the more you bond with it and bonding can actually unlock additional skills for your horse and overall provide a smoother ride. Brushing your horse, petting it after it gets spooked, and feeding it are all things that you’re gonna have to do to build up that bond.

You’re also able to have more than one horse at a time and store them at stables all over the map. Having different horses is very useful too, seeing that different breeds are better for different scenarios. Therefore, maybe there’s one that’s better during a fight, or maybe one that’s faster, or maybe one that’s just an all-around good boy.

Health

While you will have your horse and guns to take care of in Red Dead Redemption 2, the most important thing to take care of is yourself. Eating and bathing are two things that you’re gonna have to do regularly.

If Arthur’s health or stamina gets low it will affect how he controls making him dizzy and making his vision all blurry. Eating will restore these bars and make Arthur feel better. Keeping yourself clean is also something you’re gonna have to do, if you’re dirty, smelly, or covered in blood people will react to you differently. Walking to a shop covered in blood and dirt doesn’t guarantee you service and you may be kicked out. Your hair also grows as the game progresses so if you like the clean shaven look you’re gonna have to hit the barber every so often to get a trim.

Activities

Seeing that Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open world game Rockstar is definitely going to be filling it with extra side activities to keep you busy when you need to take a break from the main story.

There are activities like hunting, robbing stores, you have the option to head into town to acquire a bounty that you can hunt down. Then there are cards to be played, dominoes to be played, you can also play a five-finger fillet. You can go dancing, you can also catch a stage show, and then, of course, there are side missions which are supposedly going to be much more involved this time around and may even be multi-part missions.

Hunting

Hunting was a pretty important mechanic and Red Dead Redemption. Hunting and collecting pelts from different animals was a great way to make cash and also unlocked outfits, hunting returns and Red Dead 2 but some changes have been made to it.

For one the skinning animation is much more gruesome, it actually shows Arthur skinning it and rolling up his pelt. You now also have to store the pelt and the carcass on your horse and actually get it into town and sell it. Also, it does spoil over time so you don’t want to take too long getting it to town. The carcass you could also sell outright or bring it to a butcher pay them to cut it down for you so you can use it for cooking.

Legendary animals are also making a return which if you don’t remember you had to hunt to craft all the badass outfits in Red Dead Redemption 1. Overall this time hunting is just way more involved.

Weapons

Weapons have gone through major changes this time around. First off weapons are fully customizable with you being able to engrave them with different designs or maybe wrap the grip in leather.

You’re also able to see every weapon you have actually on Arthur so you’ll see two pistols, two longer weapons like a shotgun and a bow, and any throwable that you’re carrying. Just like Max Payne 3, if you’re using a rifle and you switch to a pistol Arthur will still hold the rifle in one hand while shooting his pistol.

Weapons will also degrade over time, hopefully not as bad as Breath of the wild. So you will have to keep up with your weapons cleaning them and what not to prevent them from jamming. You’re also able to shoot weapons out of enemy’s hands or even outright break them if you want to take a less lethal approach.

Dialogue & Conversation

Rockstar is adding a new dynamic conversation system into Red Dead 2 that actually sounds pretty interesting. Not only are there different dialogue options but what you say and how you say it will affect the outcome of a situation. You’ll also have the ability to talk your way out of certain situations as well.

When you aim at someone with your gun holstered it actually opens up a dialogue menu with different choices to choose from. There are going to be a ton of different random encounters throughout the world that you can run into. Each one having a different reaction depending on how you deal with it.

There is an example online where Arther actually saved someone from a snake attack and a few days later after walking around a town that NPC popped up and noticed Arthur. It turned out that he was the owner of the town’s gun shop and he offered Arthur a free gun of his choice. It’s nice to know that you can interact with the world more than just your gun.

Those are the things you need to know about Red Dead Redemption 2.

Let Us Know Which Game Are you looking forward to play this Month.?

Top Action RPGs of 2018

This year is great for action-RPGs and we still have some more coming until December. Action-RPG is a pretty wide area to cast, so keep that in mind there are gonna be a lot of very different games here. Also, we think they are all worth your time. Here are the Top Action RPGs of 2018.

10. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Ubisoft has been talking about how Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is finally a true RPG. Now, the claim that it is now a true RPG is based very much around agency about giving the player choice. Which is great because that’s exactly what Assassin’s Creed is kind of not been that deep into. In the words of the senior producer of the game, they’re trying to keep it very blurry. It means that different answers to different characters can have large effects on what’s going on in the game.

This isn’t groundbreaking by any means but, Assassin’s Creed origins was pretty damn good. Therefore, to see them go further into RPG territory, that’s exactly what we want from this franchise. I can’t wait to play it next month.

9. Vampyr

Vampyr

Vampyr is a game that really looks like it was going to be great on combat. But it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, it’s a little bit closer to Witcher than I expected. However, at the same time, the addition of this sort of warping really did add a layer to it. I liked it a lot and honestly, I thought it’s a good game, I enjoyed the hell out of this. I mean it’s not without its problems is a bit well let’s just say long in the load screens.

But for the most part, it’s a really enjoyable game with a phenomenal atmosphere. When you occupy this world you really feel like you’re part of it. And this is thanks in no small part to just how well they characterize not just the main character but anybody in this game got so much attention to their character.

8. Final Fantasy 15

Top Action RPGs of 2018

It is basically a generation above the console version. It is a superior port in every way and it looks phenomenal. However, this is not the only reason to play it. But, probably the biggest reason to play it is that it’s Final Fantasy 15. And after some argument over whether it is exactly a Final Fantasy game, I think it’s probably the best Final Fantasy game in years. At least in the mainline series, it is.

We haven’t seen that into a mainline game, I’m gonna say even since 10 I did like the sequels to 13. But I’m not gonna call those mainline Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasy 15 manages to put together a story of camaraderie and friendship and really came up with a good open-world concept kind of figuring out a way to make it linear but not linear and has combat systems just want us all to play around in.

7. Victor vran: overkill edition

Victor vran: overkill edition

A revamped version of the 2015 game that really did not get enough attention. It was critically acclaimed but maybe didn’t get the kind of wide notice that it should have gotten. This is kind of an interesting action RPG I mean it kind of melds a few different things. Also, this may be why it didn’t get the kind of attention it should have. However, it melds them really well, it has the more standard action RPG fare as well as somewhat they call reaction based moves.

Even some puzzle elements as well as a classless main character that allows you to tweak them with weapons, items, and various powers. It’s if you’ve got an itch for some Diablo kind of action Victor van we’ll help you scratch it. Therefore, it goes beyond that and it’s really interesting.

6. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna the golden country

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna the golden country

As a DLC or an expansion or however you want to put it by all accounts thus far it’s like another game. Therefore, if you like – Xenoblade chronicles – which is really just a phenomenal iteration of the entire Xenoblade series, why wouldn’t you want another story using those conventions. I mean Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s combat is just phenomenal.

It’s such a fun fluid game to play that gives you a lot of control but doesn’t force you down any weird rabbit holes. Also, really has a good enjoyable story with well-developed characters and the series just has a massive history of being great. There’s no good reason not to play this if you’re a fan of any Xeno game.

5. Kingdom Come Deliverance

Kingdom Come Deliverance

A complex take on something that really hasn’t been done enough. Now, we all looked at this like it’s gonna be similar to The Witcher except for without magic and that’s not what it is at all. It is kind of like that on the surface, it is a medieval RPG. However, the thing that they really focused on here was creating a combat system that gave you an immense amount of agency.

And it does that, it does it really well. Therefore, this is an interesting game and I think it’s honestly worth trying. But don’t go in thinking hey it’s basically like every RPG except without the magic. It is its own thing but that’s good we need more games that are their own things.

4. Fallout 76

Fallout 76

I am a little bit skeptical of this game. Making fallout into a basically ongoing live service, if you told me maybe a decade ago that there would be a Fallout MMORPG I would be there in an instant. I mean for all intents and purposes fallout 76 actually sounds really cool. It’s not so much the idea a world post nuclear war that you’re tasked with rebuilding in an ongoing multiplayer situation. This is more the trends in gaming at the moment that worry me.

That being said, if they manage to make that stuff tolerable or do the right thing and don’t include any of it while at 76, honestly, it could be amazing. It could be one of the better games of the next few years if it works.

3. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate

This is an HD port of an expanded version of Monster Hunter generations. Monster Hunter Generations is especially for a 3ds game just a massive game, there’s so much to do in it. It does so much in sort of retreading ground in a manner that isn’t actually derivative or bad.

This game is enjoyable it kind of pulls off the original idea of the game perfectly, especially for 2016. Also, in an area where it was approaching, I would say the limitations of the 3ds. If you haven’t played a Monster Hunter game and have a 3D, yes this is definitely the way to go. It’s a phenomenal game and a perfect introduction to the franchise. If you aren’t gonna go for the world anyway.

2. Ni no Kuni II

Ni no Kuni II

This game took the formula from the first Ni no Kuni and used parts of it that worked very well as well as gave it a new combat experience. The new combat experience is now more action-oriented and it works. In my opinion, the second game is actually more enjoyable than the first. Is it as traditional as an RPG? maybe not.

But it combines elements of a traditional JRPG with a dungeon crawler, with a hack n slash, and even has some other combat situations. The skirmishes are actually really enjoyable and weird. However, it’s got so much charm and the story itself is just like shifts into gear right away. I enjoy the hell out of it.

1. Monster Hunter World

Monster Hunter World

This is just a phenomenal, 100% exactly what it should be game. I can’t really explain how much I like the fact that they made some of the modifications to the formula that they did. However, it’s almost seamless on paper it really doesn’t sound much different but it does have a few more Western conventions in it. And they work really well because they weren’t integrated in a way that really interrupts in any way.

You’re now in a massive open world doing your monster hunting. And that’s exactly what it should be. In 2018 there isn’t an excuse for this not to exist. Fortunately, they don’t have to make one, it’s exactly a Monster Hunter, it should be in 2018. That’s really the only good way to put it.

10 Things About Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is about to get released and while at the origin it might look familiar. However, there are so many questions and there are some things that you should definitely know before taking the dive. Therefore, here are 10 Things About Shadow of the Tomb Raider you should know before you buy The Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

10. Story

Shadow of the Tomb Raider picks up two months after the events of the previous game Rise of the Tomb Raider. Lara is hot on Trinity’s heels trying to make their job a living hell sending their plans left and right wherever she can.mayan relics shadow of the tomb raider At this point, Lara is in Mexico on an expedition to uncover a Mayan relic which is somehow related to her father’s research.Dagger-shadow of the tomb raider Furthermore, of course, Trinity shows up, shoots everyone and messes up the whole plan.

And there’s also a clash of ideals with one of the supposed leaders of Trinity and some shit goes down. With all that happening in motion Lara and Jonah set off to try and change the world, it’s really interesting as hell. What else can you expect, there’s a dash of new character building with Lara coming to grips with her obsession.

9. Location

You need to know that the Shadow of the Tomb Raider will feature a new hub in a new location.Shadow of the Tomb Raider new location Also, this one will apparently be the biggest in the series to date. This new area the hidden city of Paititi is divided up into districts and serves as the game’s primary hub.Shadow of the Tomb Raider hiden city of Paitity Furthermore, it is filled with NPCs to talk to, to flesh out the world, merchants to barter with, and trade items with a new barter system.

Also, a slew of quest giver stands that point you in the direction of the games various side activities. Which help us learn about the world, explore, earn new items, and level up Laura and gain new abilities. The previous two Tomb Raider games have been filled with sad almost kind of lifeless little survival villages. Therefore, I’m just curious to see how much was like a vibrant city really shakes things up.

8. Stealth Features

The modern Tomb Raider games have always had sizable stealth element but there’s definitely more importance on it in this game. However, previous games had you crawling through bushes and sneaking up on guys through ledges and trees. Shadow of the Tomb Raider adds new options like covering yourself in mud to avoid detection.shadow-of-the-tomb-raider poster As well as the ability to like creep along vine and brush covered walls and surfaces to sneak past enemies right in plain sight.shadow-of-the-tomb-raider Screenshot Furthermore, closing the gap for more stealth kills.

It’s like the predator and it seems like a pretty badass addition to the game. Along with that encounters are set to just give you a bit more freedom. The game clearly gives you a bit more choice in the options to run and hide after you’re spotted. I don’t know exactly how they change that from previous games. Until we get our hands on it, we’ll have to wait and watch.

7. Different Difficulty levels & Immersions

We got more options for immersion some people want a fun blockbuster video game just want to be along for the ride. Others to want a really immersive experience and thankfully you can seemingly get both in the Shadow the Tomb Raider. For starters, there are options to remove things like glowing hints and such other options.Shadow of the Tomb Raider difficulty levels and options As well as removing environmental context clues for traversal and exploration.

This game like the previous games can seem pretty easy from the outset. However, it gives you the ability to take away some of those options. An interesting example in the previous games where there was the white mark on the wall.Rise of the Tomb Raider screenshot Where you could DoubleTap the jump button to climb it, but by turning on these specific difficulty options you can get rid of them.Shadow of the Tomb Raider difficulty levels and options 02 It also allows for a more immersive exploration experience where you’ve got to really think outside the box.

what I really like and I think it’s cool is that you can choose an immersive language option. This allows NPCs to speak in their native languages with subtitles, which is a nice touch. If you’re into leaving out that option I guess kind of like Lara Croft the ability to do that is really cool.

6. Accessibility

As far as Accessibility options go for this game there’s actually quite a few and it’s pretty impressive. For starters, the difficulty settings have been removed so instead of just having an Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty scheme you can actually change the difficulty of combat, puzzles, and exploration traversal independently.Shadow of the Tomb Raider Difficulty levels Therefore, if you have a hard time with combat but still want a really challenging brain-busting puzzle and traversal experience you can modify the experience to your needs. I think that’s pretty interesting just as someone who studies and talks about games all the time I’m curious to see how this difficulty system is actually gonna work out mechanically.

Furthermore, for possibly disabled folks who use different types of controllers, you can replace the standard button mashy QuickTime events with the option to just hold a button down. Also, there’s also a slew of language and subtitle options as well. It’s really nice to see the developers make an effort to add more choices to open it up to more players.

5. Game Plus Mode

It’s worth knowing that once you finish the story, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will offer the option to go back in with a new Game Plus Mode. This option is something that a lot of us are waiting eagerly to play. Playing with the new game plus mode will obviously start you back at the beginning. But with all of your acquired skills, weapons upgrades, gear, and outfits.

Also, it’ll unlock three new paths that you can unlock based on your play style. It could be stealth, combat, or traversal focused.stealth, combat, or traversal focused. The new paths will unlock these new rewards that complement that specific playstyle as well as unique weapons and outfits. This should work out well with the larger environments and more challenge tombs. That was totally our favorite things from the previous games and honestly anything that adds up to replayability we are in for it.

4. Lara’s Negative Role

With things having an apocalyptic vibe to the game, Lara is said to take a darker tone in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. According to statements made at the Tribeca Film Festival by the game’s lead writer Jill Murray. Lara will be “fighting not to become the enemy she hates and in many cases, we may see the enemy in herself. She’s going to make a lot of mistakes and deal with a lot of complicities. depending on your perspective, a hero can also be a threat, and in this game, Lara has to decide which path she’s going to choose.”

This tone carries over to the gameplay where Lara will viciously take down her enemies in gruesome and incredibly violent ways. What we’ve noticed is the gameplay previews is that she now has a giant nasty combat knife.Shadow of the Tomb Raider poster And she has no problem just literally placing it into a guy’s head. The previous two games did have moments of real gore and brutality, but Lara feels like a vicious killer now thanks to new animations. Whether or not the story will actually directly acknowledge some of that we’re gonna have to wait and see. However, it sounds like it’s good so far.

3. Graphics

let’s talk about the NVIDIA RTX stuff. Shadow of the Tomb Raider was one of the first games used to showcase the newest generation of Nvidia’s graphics technology with the RTX line of cards. As such the game is one of a handful to support real-time ray tracing out of the gate. Also, for layman’s terms that basically takes the advantage of the newest lighting and shadows technology for the most realistic out there.

Furthermore, the game is also on the short list of games to take advantage of Nvidia’s deep learning super sampling technology. It is said to give image quality enrichment by using the Turing sensor cores to better smooth out sharp edges and elements to generally produce a better image. The last Tomb Raider games have been pretty great demonstrations of new tech from upgraded consoles. The hair effects and other details can be noticed. Therefore, we’ll see if the Shadow of the Tomb Raider can keep that trend up. It seems like if you’re playing on PC you have a lot to look forward to.

2. DLC and Season Pass

We have to grind down some future plans and some DLC content. There is a season pass and it will include seven new pieces of content called paths. Square Enix said that each new path adds new narrative, mission, challenge tombs, weapons, outfits, skills. And one of each being exclusive to the season pass.

Now, all that is well and good. but the real interesting bit comes in the reveal that some of the new challenge tombs will feature co-op play. This is a first for the series, I honestly can’t really imagine what that’ll be like. However, we’ll have to just wait and see. Generally, the baba yaga DLC from the last game with solid stuff is worth revisiting.Baba yaga DLC Therefore, I really hope they can keep that trend up here.

1. Release Date and Platforms

The Shadow of the Tomb Raider is dropping September 14th, 2018 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Nintendo Switch just isn’t in the cards for this one. Therefore, if you were leaning towards that, it is time to figure out a different choice. Because they’ve said it ain’t happening, and as for how the PC version goes they

 Recommended System Requirements
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.4GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 6GB Video Memory
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB
  • DX: DirectX 12
  • HD: 40GB

And here are the system requirements for the game. Obviously like we mentioned earlier you get added benefits with the newer RTX cards.

Shadow of The Tomb Raider System Requirements

The official requirements are quite similar to some of the predicted specifications. Now, we have the official Shadow of The Tomb Raider system requirements. Over the past few weeks, we have seen some interesting system performance results for Shadow of The Tomb Raider on the new Nvidia RTX 20 Series. But we now we have the official Shadow of The Tomb Raider System Requirements. So let’s see how well does Shadow Of The Tomb Raider perform on your PC.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 64 bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 or AMD FX 4300
  • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 2GB Video Memory
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 660 / GeForce GTX 1050 or Radeon HD 7770 / Radeon R9 380
  • DX: DirectX 11
  • HD: 40GB

Besides that, the minimum system requirements are quite comparable to the last 2016 part of Tomb Raider as well. Therefore, in short, “if your PC can run the previous Tomb Raider game then you will be able to play Shadow of The Tomb Raider” because you will meet the official minimum system requirements as well. That is a good news.

Recommended System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.4GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 6GB Video Memory
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB
  • DX: DirectX 12
  • HD: 40GB

So these are the Shadow of The Tomb Raider recommended system requirements. It is a step ahead from the previous Rise of the Tomb Raider specifications, which released at the beginning of 2016. So if your PC could easily play Shadow of the tomb raider’s forerunner on high graphics settings then you will likely have little problem playing this year’s Shadow of The Tomb Raider game at 1080p on high. The significant difference in requirements here is the recommended RAM. You are going to need a 16GB system memory. However, we all know that during the last couple of years system memory has jumped up in price by quite a margin. Therefore, this might be a difficult one for a lot of people, hoping to get a comfortable frame rate at 1080p on high graphics settings.

Looking over these specs and considering performance from the previous title and we predicted what the requirements would be for Shadow or the Tomb Raider on Ultra settings. Therefore, we showed you the Ultra System Requirements as well.

Ultra System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 6GB Video Memory
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 8GB
  • DX: DirectX 12
  • HD: 40GB

Those Ultra requirements for Shadow of the Tomb Raider can get your PC performing very conveniently with most of the settings turned up to max at 1080p. This set of hardware is also a good specification for resolution of 1440p on Shadow of the Tomb Raider gameplay. Therefore, those people who like to play on a larger monitor size at high or above graphics settings, they will probably find the Ultra specification a very nice graphical experience.

Game Engine

Shadow of Tomb Raider will run on the Dawn Engine. It is Eidos Montreal‘s Tomb Raider graphics engine. They also use it for their Deus Ex games.

Story and Gameplay

Shadow of The Tomb Raider is the 12th Tomb Raider chapter with action and adventure, 3rd person game filled with puzzles. The story starts just two months after The Rise of the Tomb Raider’s end. Lara will head to the South American city of Paititi to try and stop a Mayan apocalypse that she could be the cause of.

The game is set to release on September 14th on PC, Xbox One and PS4. However, Eidos Montreal began development of Shadow of The Tomb Raider back in 2015.
