Upcoming games in September 2018

I hope you’re ready for some of the bigger titles of the year. Here are the 10 Upcoming games in September 2018 that you need to play.

10. Insurgency Sandstorm

The previous insurgency was an indie game that ended up breaking out to be quite a hit. Sandstorm is a continuation of the concepts, it’s a tactical FPS which focus mainly on close quarters type gameplay. It does have multiplayer, it is oriented more around objectives, and co-op, but there is small-scale head to head in an either mode single or multiplayer.

A lot of it focuses on ammunition management. And the kind of close quarters gameplay it brings to the table it does look quite good keeping in mind its indie roots. Furthermore, it is coming to PC on September 18th. It is probably going to be 2019 before we see it on consoles, but it looks like good stuff.

9. Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age

This is one cool looking Dragon Quest. It’s a mix of different styles of art that manages not to look like a mix of a couple of different styles of art. And that’s kind of how you can explain most of the game. Not necessarily by its graphics, but you get this huge world that you’re able to explore and engage in traditional battles which are fairly simple looking.

However, for me, that’s kind of a pro as opposed to a con and if it plays the way it looks which is a really great visual concoction of new and old cartoons, real fantasy and anime. I have heard about it being a little bit too traditional and that it doesn’t really advance the genre in any way, like in the way octopus traveler does. However, I wonder if that really matters, of course, we’ll have to play it before we know.

Besides that, on PC and PS4 the Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age is coming on September 4th

8. NBA 2k19 20th Anniversary Edition

I remember way back when the NBA 2k franchise launched. And so do the developers because they’ve made a specific version to celebrate 20 years of quote-unquote redefining what sports gaming can be. They call their game best-in-class in graphics and gameplay.

I’m inclined to agree, this is really a franchise that has taken its time, developed very well and looks absolutely amazing at this point. However, depending on your taste there’s a lot of modes for you to play with. I personally like playing basketball games on such games, but for those who do like the campaigns, there are stories that you play through.

They’ve got a relatively compelling looking one for this game. But, I’m basically like it because it is a great series. NBA 2k19 always implements good gameplay mechanical updates and although usually, they’re iterative, at this point they’ve proven that they do a good job with it. NBA 2k19 20th Anniversary Edition is coming to ps4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo switch on September 7.

7. V-Rally 4

V-Rally 4 is a game that brings the series back. It debuted way back in the PlayStation era, the first time around EA published it in the US. They called it a need for speed V-Rally because rally racing wasn’t that popular in the US at that time. Ahead with two sequels, the last of which happened in 2002. V-Rally was a game that appeared on a few platforms including the Machine that was too good for this earth the Dreamcast. And it’s been a while since I’ve even thought about these games.

V-Rally 4’s footage doesn’t look like a throwback, but instead an incredibly good-looking rally game. Despite the fact we’ve actually seen some interest in these types of games recently still isn’t a crowded market. Therefore, honestly, I’m pretty excited about this, there need to be more games like this. V-Rally 4 is coming to ps4 and Xbox one September 7th and PC on the 25th.

6. Valkyria Chronicles 4

It’s good there back to the actual strategy oriented gameplay of the mainline Valkyria Chronicles games. And they’re clearly going for a much more quote-unquote real feeling with the characters. But I mean if they’re paying any attention to how to do characters at all, that means they’ve learned a lesson from Valkyria revolution.

Therefore, I’m looking forward to this, I’m really excited that they’ve gone back to their strategy roots and I’ll be picking it up when it comes to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo switch on September 25th.

5. NHL 19

NHL 19 is gonna hit this month. And a lot has been done to the skating physics. This is the main thing I’ve seen anybody commenting on the games brought up. NHL isn’t a series that has been particularly innovative for quite a while, so any changes in it are kind of big.

Furthermore, they are adding this mode that’s kind of a lifestyle multiplayer free-for-all mode. It may be really cool, but I’ve seen the word lifestyle used to describe it a lot and I’m not so sure how that fits in with a hockey video game. I’m more interested to find how the skating has changed and want to see all of the updates to that. It does look amazing and NHL 19 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One September 14th.

4. FIFA 19

I just want to give you a heads up, it has a demo hitting on the 13th sep. So if you’re interested in checking out a lot of the changes for yourself that is an option. And I will be taking them up on that. However, a lot of the aesthetic changes are made. Specifically, cinematics for teams, fans, and even when you transfer a player.

On top of that, the licensing has been greatly expanded, there are new stadiums, there are three different playable characters for the journey. Besides that, it overall looks like a good addition and a good development for FIFA. FIFA 19 is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on the September 28th. And the demo is coming on the 13th.

3. Life is Strange 2 Episode 1

If you want to know my opinion on life is strange, I have a positive one. Life is strange was really interesting, it was about apocalyptic phenomena, it was about traveling through time, and it was also about the teenage experience. Furthermore, the setup is that something supernatural ends up killing a cop and a pair of young brothers one 9 and other 16 ends up on a road trip.

Starting in Seattle the first episode is of course called Seattle and it’s hitting on September 27th on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

2. Shadow of the Tomb Raider

The new Tomb Raider reboot is going well. Apparently, they’ve done a lot with the theme of descent sort of a metaphorical downturn. But also perhaps an embracing of the game in some of the maybe less savory ideas that it depends on. I don’t know it’s sounding a little bit more brutal to me which I like. And I’ve really enjoyed the rebooted Tomb Raider series so far so I’m pretty much here no matter what.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 14.

1. Spider-Man

Of course, at number one is Spider-man. Spider-man has been one of the coolest looking games since they’ve announced it. Just seeing all of the actual well done looking web-slinging. But moreover, all of the combat we’ve seen leading up to, it is just something that makes this game look special. Insomniac games experience with sunset overdrive definitely shows.

And there’s not a lot to say about this game that you can’t just infer from the visuals and there’s a lot to look forward to. I’m really looking forward to it. Spider-man is coming to the PS4 on September 7th and I’m just totally sold on this game.

PUBG HP Omen Challenger Series Announced

PUBG is the high-intensity battle royale game from PUBG Corporation. 100 players can play battle royal in it. It is the victory for the last person standing alive. This game has quickly become a global gaming phenomenon. Over 400 million players enjoy this game across the world on all the platforms.

The PUBG HP Omen Challenger Series has been announced. As you can assume by the name, HP has teamed up with PUBG Corp for tournaments across the world.

In countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Philippines, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and Australia. There are two categories for this challenge amateur and influencer. The combined prize pool is $50,000.

And being a part of Omen Challenger Series with HP and PUBG. It proves their continued commitment to this space.

Starting date of the challenge

PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) is one of the more famous PC games in India with certain e-sports organizers, therefore, likening its ascendance to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Furthermore, making it just a matter of time before gaming PC brands tried to benefit from the hype. Finally, Events like these are a way for PUBG Corp to maintain the interest of players in the game. Because, in the face of a packed season of games including FIFA 19, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, and updates to favorites like Overwatch and Fortnite.

Besides that, Two PUBG influencers per country will be invited to form teams of four. Therefore, at the Grand Finals which will be held at Commart in Bangkok, Thailand, matches will be held on November 2-4, 2018. Furthermore, Registrations are now open via the HP Omen website. Therefore, online qualifiers beginning September 15. 80 amateur teams of four are participating in the country qualifiers. Which will be live-streamed via local streaming studios. A total of 40 teams will compete in the amateur and influencer categories.

Spider-Man PS4 – 10 Things We Know

Spider-man is probably one of the most anticipated games of 2018. Probably right up there with Red Dead Redemption 2, but unlike right there redemption 2 spider-man is only a few weeks away. So here are 10 things we know about Spider-Man PS4.

10. Spider-Man’s City

One of the most iconic and important parts of any Spider-Man story is the city of New York. Whether it be one of the many movies or comics, how the city interacts with spider-man and vice versa has always been present. Because New York is right alongside Mary Jane and Aunt May as one of the most important supporting characters.

Insomniac made sure to make New York something special in this game. Citizens will interact with Spider-man in different ways whether it be throwing him a high-five, calling out his name, or even stopping him to take a selfie. The fast travel system is also ‘super-New York’ with spider-man actually taken the subway with other New Yorkers. Insomniac-games is also making sure to include landmarks from the real New York and the Marvel New York. So you get things that Greater City Music Hall, Avengers tower, and where Doctor Strange hangs out on Bleecker Street.

This might not be as big of a deal to most of the people, but seeing that some of us are New Yorkers this is something that just hits us pretty hard.

9. Spider-man suits

It wouldn’t be a spider-man game without multiple suits to choose from and unlock them. Rumor has it, there are gonna be near about 20 suits available in the game. With more suits coming later on in DLC. Different suits will also have different stats as well, so they aren’t just cosmetic.

There are some really good suits they’re gonna be popping up. There’s the noir suit, the infinity war suit, the homemade suit from the MCU, Scarlet Spider, Spider Punk, and 2099 just name a few.

There is also a brand new suit that was designed specifically for the game and it’s called the velocity suit. And it kind of reminds me of spider-man stealth suit that he wore during the big time arc in the comics.

Suits are actually something you have to craft in the game. We don’t have many details on how exactly that works. But suits will also be shown in cutscenes. This might not seem like a big deal, but when games don’t do this it drives us absolutely insane. So compliments to insomniac for actually thinking of something so small.

8. Spider-man Hostile Take-over

The release of Spider-man is a lot closer than you think. But if you think you can’t wait until September 7th to the release, then you’re in luck. On August 21st it was a tie-in novel released titled Spider-man hostile takeover. It takes place before the game and starts to build up the world a bit.

We learned that Mary Jane already works for the Daily Bugle. Also, that she’s have been obsessed with covering all of kingpins madness. Which probably sets you up playing as Mary Jane and what seems to be stealth parts. I guess you are sneaking around a kingpin hideout or something like that.

It also touches upon spider-man and kingpins relationship, it seems they’ve had a good amount of run-ins in the past. Therefore, Fisk really doesn’t like Spidey and I’m sure we’ll hear all about it in the game. The book also references other heroes existing in the universe such as Daredevil, Doctor Strange, and the Avengers. Everything I’ve seen so far about this book actually seems really cool. And it seems like it’s definitely worth checking out.

7. Photo Mode

It seems that really good photo modes are becoming a trend with PlayStation 4. Photo modes have obviously been around for quite some time, but when a ps4 exclusive game launches, you can see Twitter feed getting flooded with amazing screenshots. It was Uncharted 4 that really kicked off the trend of big ps4 exclusives getting really good fleshed out photo modes. Horizon zero dawn and Shadow the of Colossus are other ones that just had so many beautiful screenshots come out of it.

It was mostly because of how good both games look, almost any screenshot is gonna look great. And then we just recently had God of War that also had a great photo mode. With really great screenshots coming out of that as well.

Insomniac has already come out and stated that Spider-man is going to have a photo mode. And I think they have joked about it has to be better than the God of wars photo mode. I can already imagine some of the really cool mid-web-swing screenshots we’re gonna get. Everything we’ve seen of the game looks great, now, imagine that with a cool photo mode filter launched on top of it and you know it’s gonna look even cooler.

6. Insomniac Avoided Another Origin Story

The thing Insomniac really wanted to avoid with this game was giving us another Spiderman origin story. We all know what happens here, Peter Parker was bit by the spider when he was 15. Now, when you’re playing as Peter, he’s a 23-year-old college graduate. So he’s been spider-man for eight years already, therefore, he knows what he’s doing.

We are still receiving the Spider-man and Peter Parker that we all know and love. But insomniac is going to be launching his early 20s. So not only is Peter running around and dealing with Spider-man shit, but he’s also dealing with Peter Parker stuff. Working to keep a job, pay bills, and rent, balancing friends and family while also protecting them. This isn’t anything new for spider-man.

If you’ve read the comics this is all stuff you’ve seen before. Spider-man doesn’t come off as some high-class superhero, rather, he comes off as an average superhero. That is the part of what makes Spider-man so relatable, he is struggling with being an adult.

Besides that, while we are getting an experienced spider-man, the one that knows what he is doing, and knows what he is capable of. We aren’t really getting a very experienced Peter Parker, as he struggles with the day-to-day adult life. Therefore, this isn’t totally a Spider-man story, rather, it is just as much a Peter Parker story.

5. No Microtransactions in The Game

Insomniac has come out and said that Spider-man will not feature any form of microtransactions, seeing that so many games have them nowadays. And seeing how the majority of the gaming community feels about them, it’s nice to know that they aren’t gonna exist here at all.

But that doesn’t mean there isn’t gonna be DLC. So far insomniac has announced two different sets of DLC. The city that never sleeps pack, and The heist pack. The heist pack revolves around the Black-cat and a heist, but that’s all we have so far on that. We don’t know if they’re gonna take the Arkham approach and let us play as Black-cat or not.

Each DLC pack will have new story missions, new villains, and new suits. And noticing that spider-man have so many different villains and cramming a ton into the game isn’t the smartest idea. I think DLC packs is an excellent idea. Because it gives a little bit more breathing room for new villains. Especially if they’re gonna introduce new characters for somebody to fight alongside and against. Furthermore, The fact that all of these DLC packs have different suits attached to them as well is really cool. Because Spider-man has so many awesome suits and we just want to wear all of them.

4. Villains

Just like most comic book video games, Spider-man will feature a ton of different villains. There have been a few that we’ve actually been able to get a look at. And there are others that Insomniac has just stated is in the game but haven’t shown off yet.

First, we have Mr. negative who said to be the big baddie like the main villain of the game. But I don’t know how accurate that is seeing that the game also features Wilson Fisk and some members of the sinister six. I can totally see like an Arkham origins type fake-out although not as elaborate as one villain pretending to be another, but more of a simple fake out. You know you get your expected Spider-man villains making an appearance like shocker, rhino, vulture, electro, and black cat.

But then there’s also the Taskmaster who I never once thought would pop up in a game because taskmaster is just a weird character that I think doesn’t fit in anywhere besides like the Lego games. But I am a big fan of him and I’m hyped to see him making an appearance here. It’s been confirmed that he is going to pop up in a set of side quests.

Norman Osbourne has also confirmed to make an appearance, but he might not be popping up as the Green Goblin. This time he is the mayor of New York and it seems like that might just be it. Although I can totally see something happening where he ends up being the big mastermind behind everything. There is also that mystery villain who comes at the end of one of the trailers. I really hope he is Doctor Octopus and if that’s the case I’m gonna lose my mind.

3. Combat

Let’s talk about the combat. We’ve been getting pretty good looks at the combat since the game was announced. And insomniac is giving you a few different options when it comes to combat. There’s a bunch of melee moves, gadgets, and different web powers are able to chain together.

Combat revolves around combo hits and using the environment like throwing buckets or pulling down shells. You can flip, dodge, and jump because that’s important when there are guns. We can also do special finisher hits if you get your combo high enough. Pushing and pulling with your web is awesome too because you can trigger aerial combos more often. And mixing in gadgets will also come into play.

We can also take the stealthy approach and take out a few enemies, before jumping in fists swinging. Different suits also have different abilities as well. Spider Punk suit is able to activate an AOE attack, where the sound waves from his guitar push the enemy back. The Ben Riley suit actually creates Holograms of spider-man that will confuse enemies. Suit mods and gadgets are actually crafted by the player via a minigame and you use the in-game currency to purchase those mods and upgrades. I think this combat looks super smooth and very Spider-Man-like.

2. Web Swing

This is a Spider-Man game, after all, so we had to talk about the web-swinging, and thankfully it’s very solid. Insomniac has spoken lots about it since the questions everyone has been asking. And they’ve actually clearly put the work in. It does feel awesome, but it’s not quite the complete physics-based simulation, what the classic spider-man 2 game had. But it’s really damn close, your webs need to have buildings nearby to attach or else you can’t swing.

It’s completely momentum based, meaning letting go at the bottom of a swing propels you forward faster. We can also do aerial tricks, this might sound like something meaningless, but I really enjoy it. The more I feel like Spider-man the better, what also helps is the web zip ability that’s similar to previous games, where you can just zip a web on an object and pull yourself forward. But now it’s a bit more contextual and going through certain things is often different and will speed you up.

We think it as, the local motion from insomniacs other game (sunset overdrive), but imagine a layer of Spider-man swinging you want to be a lump on top of that game system. Also, you will have upgradeable abilities that will tie into swinging abilities, like apparently charged jumps as well.

1. Release Date and DLC

Spider-man launches on ps4 on September 7th-2018. It is launching with three different editions, the standard edition, the digital deluxe edition, that comes with the city that never sleeps DLC. It has additional story chapters that will feature new characters and costumes that will release sometime before March 2019.

Besides that, there’s the collector’s edition which comes with the art book and the statue that we haven’t seen yet. Therefore, no one knows what it looks like. And that DLC that I just mentioned, it also comes with the collector’s edition. Pre-ordering the game anywhere will get you access to the spider Punk suit, infinity war iron spider suit, and the brand new velocity suit. But don’t worry if you don’t pre-order you’ll still be able to unlock those suits in the game.

There is also the Spider-Man limited edition ps4 a pro bundle. The big and red which has the white spider-man symbol on the front and comes with a red controller. We can totally see someone not being into it because it’s kind of ugly.

Top 10 PS4 Games Under 20 Dollars

When games come out they’re expensive. And sometimes because of that, we miss them. But the monetary entry point for these PlayStation 4 games has gone way down. So, here are the top 10 PS4 Games Under 20 Dollars.

Games that are really big and awesome. Games that don’t really have any business being this cheap. The prices do fluctuate so they may be lower than noted on this list. Because these titles now go on sale oftentimes.

Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection

This is a collection of the first three Uncharted games. In my opinion, these games are all good enough, that they would justify the price. They are selling it at a net price of $9.99 on their own.

While the first one is a little bit shakier than number two and three. These are games that really made a lot of the conventions of today’s modern third-person games into conventions. It is very derivative of Tomb Raider and the new Tomb Raider is very derivative of itself. So what happens when the genre is developed. And this is such a big leap in not just the exact each genre it occupies. But a lot of adjacent genres as well. Therefore, Ten Dollars for three fantastic games, that’s 3 dollars and 33 cents. Which really cheap…

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

This game was incredibly well reviewed for all the right reasons. It is packed with content and you have so much means as to how you are going to cross that content. The world is very detailed and very strange. And yet it is set in the past when a lot of the strangeness is a lot less explainable.

The characters are really the elements of the story that shines the most. The story is quite simple actually. But, in my opinion, it’s the gameplay that really brings you to the phantom pain. It is such a good mix of stealth open-world gameplay and outright action. That it totally justifies a $19.99 price point. $19.99 is very low for such a huge, wide, expansive, and immersive experience.

Doom 2016

This game has every right to be around $40 at this moment but it is $19.99. This was in every way a huge development in the first-person shooter genre. In the franchise’s lifespan, Doom 2016 added so many interesting mechanics. While retaining the things that make Doom what it is now.

If you look at it it looks like Doom, it’s got every hallmark of doom. The visuals, the speed, the weapons, but they also added a bunch of interesting chaining mechanics and the multiplayer is great. Now, Doom cost $19.99, that is ridiculous to pass up.

Bloodborne

It is a masterpiece of work From Software. This is a game that took some of the conventions of Dark Souls and turned them on their head. It basically made it so that there’s no good reason for you to use the shield. Which encourages some very different gameplay mechanic and your strategies change.

Besides that, the world that Bloodborne occupies is very different than the world of Dark Souls. It is much more along the lines of a Lovecraftian nightmare rather than a medieval fantasy one. It plays a little bit like a faster Dark Souls that are more oriented toward dodging than blocking.

Which is great because that gameplay mechanic and that combination of strategies is fun as hell. It is also not as hard but it’s pretty damn hard. To say it’s not a challenge would be really difficult to sound as if you’re good at games. It is tough, but it is the fun kind of tough. It is only $19.99, therefore, considering the amount of time you’ll spend in the world of Bloodborne, that’s dirt-cheap.

Stardew Valley

This game is an honor to the Super Nintendo Harvest Moon series. It brings a lot of new elements to the table, develops the genre, the idea, the entirety of it. Stardew Valley turns it into a little bit more of a simulator and a little bit less of a narrative game.

However, it’s kind of already not too far in either direction. So Stardew Valley is concentration on the gameplay elements of it while maintaining the more nostalgic aesthetics of the old-school Harvest Moon games.

It is a good choice and a lot of the things added to it actually remind me of Minecraft, except for it’s really nothing like Minecraft. There are a lot of games that are like that actually. Except this is a farming simulator, and it’s fun as hell. It is also only $14.99 which is a steal.

Rocket League

This game is as the developers have described it before. It is basically soccer, but with rocket-powered cars. Have you ever seen a match of this game go, there’s no other way to describe it. And although its first release was way back in 2015 there are over 40 million players, as of the beginning of 2018 playing this game. This is one of those games where even if you don’t understand the appeal, it is still worth a spin. Because playing it is highly addictive in a good way.

It’s just a fun goofy weird game that manages to do exactly what it sets out to do. And it only costs $13.99, which is it’s certainly worth giving it a shot. 40 million people can’t be wrong.

Yakuza Kiwami

It approximately translates to “Yakuza Ultimate” and with good reason it is a remake of the original Yakuza. It is using all of the more recent Yakuza technology. It looks unique it plays phenomenally and it is just wonderful.

The Yakuza series is absolutely just wonderful. It is such an immersive narrative and although the open world doesn’t boast square footage. It is easily one of the densest lived-in and alive feeling open worlds there is. Going back and redoing the original to the point where it is closer to the goals of the modern Yakuza games. It just does so much for it, it is such a good version of the game and it’s such a good game as it stands. It is also only $19.99 now, So pick it up…

Until Dawn

It is the narrative game that is about your choices. Most people consider being much better about player choice than a lot of narrative games much like it. It goes above and beyond to ensure that your choices actually do have effects.

All elements of the story eventually have to deal with which is really commendable. And considering how many branches and how much it actually changes its kind of amazing they made a game like this. Which takes on average 11-12 hours to play. It is even more amazing is that you can buy it now for $5.99 and I would say you should.

Uncharted 4

Obviously, if you’re wanting the entire uncharted collection you’ll have to pick this one up. In my opinion, it is without a doubt one of the best games ever made. It is the culmination of Uncharted, it goes so much further in its storytelling. The environments are so much more ambitious, the set pieces are bigger, better, and more edge-of-your-seat.

And the action, the shooting, the actual bulk of the game is never boring. It is just remarkable, such a well-made game. It has so many elements that are just done to perfection. At 9.99 not to pick up this game, especially if you haven’t played it. I can’t understand what you are thinking.

Last of Us Remastered

The horror classic in every way shape or form. Which is getting a highly anticipated sequel that frankly, I’m quite thrilled for this game. It personally has an updated, much better-looking, HD, and enjoyable version of itself on the PlayStation 4.

It allows you to go through the absolutely nerve-wracking scenarios, which this game puts you through. And honestly it really does, it allows you to experience the narrative triumph that is The Last of Us. And the best possible quality at $19.99, to experience really one of the best. It just makes sense.

Hitman 2 includes Hitman season 1 revamped

Good News for Season 1 owners

IO Interactive, developers of the legendary assassination game series Hitman has shared some incredibly nice news about their new game Hitman 2. The entire Season 1, that is all missions from the first Hitman of 2016. They will receive a redo and become available to be played in Hitman 2. Devil May Cry 5 Set to Release in March 2019

The Original Nero and Dante are making their appearance in the gaming world in 2019 with Devil May Cry 5 and it looks completely awesome. At Gamescom, Capcom premiered a new trailer showcasing epic new action, the release date, and more.

On March 8th, 2019, Devil May Cry 5 will get released with a new tale in Dante’s saga. Besides that, it seems he’s not significantly the main hero this time around. Therefore, with some exciting new gameplay features like being able to ride Nero’s detachable arm like a rocket skateboard on top of the already quick-paced high octane hack and slash action.

Story

Several years after the order of the sword incident. An unusual event arrives in Red Grave City. A gigantic tree penetrates through the surface in the middle of the town, attacking with roots that drain the citizens of their blood.

Therefore, Our young Devil hunter Nero shoots into the Red Grave aboard the mobile Devil May Cry vehicle with his partner Nico. Nico is a self-styled “artisan of arms” which provides Nero with new weapons. However, Nero seeks to recover many things in Red Grave: Lost pride, stolen powers, and a man who was left behind.

Besides that, Nero is Wielding his Red Queen Sword and custom Blue Rose revolver. He rushes into Red Grave, routing the demon hordes as he makes for the ominous phenomenon in the city center. All the while, a new power crackles through his right arm.

Fortnite Season 5-10 Easter Eggs you missed

Fortnite season 5 is in full swing with so many changes new locations to explore and new game modes to enjoy. While you’re busy building massive worlds in playground mode or knocking off enemies one by one, there are a number of Easter eggs you may have missed along the way.

Here are some of the season 5 Easter eggs you didn’t know.

10. Golf Shots in Fortnite Season 5

For some of us hunting down enemies and killing them just wasn’t enough. We already had the privilege of using soccer fields in previous seasons of Fortnite. But now in season 5 they really upped the ante with access to Basketballs and Golf balls. When going through your remotes it’s easy to pull out a ball and get off a shot at any location. Obviously, the best place to get your golf swing on is at the lucky links golf course. YouTuber Yode turns the playground mode into a crazy golf course where wooden walls help create obstacles and ramps for the balls to roll on.

If you look closely while playing golf you could enjoy some statistics along the way. In the bottom left corner of the screen is usually a kill feed. The realistic feed actually comes with a lot of joy each time you make a shot. Because it’ll tell you how far away your shot was, not only can you screenshot your distance for bragging rights, but it easily helps you keep track of your best shots no matter how often you play.

9. Escape From Shore

A few weeks ago there were a ton of headlines about one of the great Fortnite rescue attempts of all time. When YouTuber Muselk discovered chappadoodle abandoned on shore. He attempted to save him using ATK. But things didn’t go exactly as planned as the cart tumbled down and plowed into chappadoodle and instantly killed the character. The video quickly went viral and Epic Games took notice. To help honor the failed rescue, a large tombstone was resurrected right at the location where trap noodle was killed.

By heading down to the isolated area you can see the tombstone and mourn the hilarious death. Not only did Epic Games add this nice touch but there are a few things they did to help prevent this type of incident from ever happening again. The first fix was giving the players the ability to build up and down the hill as needed. The second fix is the addition of some tires so players can easily hop back up and won’t find themselves stuck on the shore like chappadoodle.

There are all kinds of funny incidents happening in Fortnite. And to see Epic Games honor them is what makes the game so great. It feels like a true community.

8. Restoring Dusty Depot

Depending on what season you actually started playing Fortnite. The center of the map was likely called something different, the area originally started out as dusty Depot. It was nothing special just three large warehouses with terrible loot. In recent seasons the area changed after a meteor strike destroyed it. Therefore, the location is renamed Dusty Divot. Now in season 5, Dusty Divot has all new look, with much of the area overgrown with trees, and many of the structures removed. While this change is pretty obvious just by looking at the overhead map. And getting a little closer will help reveal some additional details. If you look closely at the trucks surrounding dusty divot you’ll notice a lot of key items are stored there. For example, one truck features dumpsters porta-potties and construction materials.

which indicate some great transformation to the Dusty Divot area. A lot of the overgrown trees may get cut down as new buildings are erected. And players should expect to see some major changes when season 6 arrives.

The ever-changing location gives players a lot to do and explore with each new season. The pallets and other items are general tools. So, there’s nothing clear about what they are going to build in the area. Either way, we’ll have to see if the impact of the meteor has any effect on what eventually gets placed in the location.

7. Mourning The Tomato

The rocket launch and presence of the rift created all types of changes on the four-night map. For buildings in tomato town, their business is seriously damaged. One of the more obvious examples of this was the tomato man head statue in Tomato town. The Tomato head was so iconic, that there is even a skin created after it. After the head disappeared, there were clearly people upset with the game’s story. If you travel back to the pizza restaurant and go on the roof there’s a small Easter egg, indicating how iconic the tomato man really was.

Look closely and you’ll see a small sign that says goodbye and features an image of a tomato on it. Obviously between the rocket launch and premiere of season 5 some type of vigil took place at the pizza restaurant. For players like ESmearman, he took mourning the tomato man into his own hands. The YouTuber wore the tomato man skin. Made his way to the top of the restaurant and proceeded to dance in the location where the tomato man used to be. A wonderful way to honor a wonderful man. As players continue to mourn the lost, it’s only a matter of time before we find out where the giant tomato actually ended up.

6. Opening The Drive-in

The large island in Fortnite seems like an amazing place to live. Spend your days shopping on retail row, enjoy a relaxing boat trip on loot lake, or hit the course on lucky links. At night there’s even more to do, especially in the form of a drive-in theater. Risky Reels is an outdoor theater which houses a huge projection screen and brings back a lot of nostalgia for people who enjoyed attending the drive-ins. Back in Season 4, Risky Reels was a huge mess, the screen was destroyed the parking lot was a mess, and it looked like the place hadn’t been touched since the 1950s.

Well, like many other locations in season 5, it seems like some restoration has begun. One of the biggest changes you’ll notice are all the cars lining the lot again. Apparently, if you rebuild it they will come. The lot is completely full, which is kind of funny considering the screen still isn’t fully repaired. We guess watching a great movie on 75% of a screen is better than no movie at all. For a detailed look at the changes, YouTuber random Chievos went to the Risky Reels and captured all types of footage of the area. At this rate season 6 could be airing full length fictional Fortnite movies or maybe they should just start streaming some in-game player stats.

5. Seeing Underwater

The water areas in Fortnite had a different kind of element and strategy when playing. You can choose to build platforms directly over the water for easier travels, and trudge through the water to make your way around. One of the biggest issues when going into the water used to be the lack of visibility. Certain forced camera angles made it impossible to see the water, turning crunching positions into frustrating blind spots.

Loot Lake is the water mass in the game where many players find themselves trapped when they couldn’t see to get out. The dark waters also made it impossible to pick up specific items, when another player dies in the water. Well if you’ve taken a swim at all during season 5, then you would have noticed someone spend a lot of time cleaning up the lake. Not only of the graphics improved dramatically, but the water is completely clear.

You have the ability to change how you play in loot lake and can crunch all you want to avoid enemies spotting. Seeing through the water has multiple advantages for the future of the game as well. We can imagine Epic games adding a special scuba gear add-on, similar to the bush. Players can hide deeper in the water and the game could even include secret underwater tunnels.

4. The Viking sail

Teleportation elements have been infused into Fortnite Season 5. Ever since the epic rocket launch created huge rifts in the sky. These elements of teleportation can be seen from various parts of the map, including the new season 5 Viking village.

As you explore the village located high up in the hills you can’t miss the spectacular sight of the large Viking ship.

At first glance, the sail symbol may just look like a Viking inspired llama design. However, If you look closely at the flag design, you’ll notice a lot of legs. This is because the design is based off the Sleipnir an animal featured in Norse mythology. The creature is known as an eight-legged horse and was ridden by Odin. The horse itself could make an epic appearance in Fortnite in a number of different ways. And the design features on the sail are a nice touch to true Viking history. The horse could appear as a statue, similar to the new dinosaur statues. It could also be the first living creature in the game to be ridden, imagine riding into battle on an eight-legged horse. And having the ability to shoot enemies while on top of your steed.

3. Moai Heads

Season 5 has brought the past into the present and another example of this comes from the moai heads now present on the island. Unlike other areas like the dinosaur statue or Viking village, the moai heads are scattered all around the island. The statutes are not just a random decoration for the island, they serve as a great easter egg and have many secrets associated with them.

One of the biggest secrets is where the moai heads are pointing to. Redditer Duncan games created a map following the direction of every moai head was pointing to. They’re all pointing towards salty springs the location of the biggest rift. The direction of the heads only adds to the mystery of their appearance in season 5.

The heads are clearly inspired by the real-life statues found on Easter Island. The statues have been there for thousands of years and are surrounded by a ton of mystery. For gamers, these statues were seen in Super Mario Land from the original Gameboy. The moai heads may look nice in Fortnite, but another secret involves their destruction. Axing the moai heads will help you quickly build upon brick materials early in a match. Get to a Moai Head first and you’ll be treated to one or more treasure chests as well.

2. A True Victory

Whether you’re playing solo, duo, or squads nothing feels better than being the sole survivor and earning a victory royale. No matter how many times you’ve done it the victory never gets old and season 5 only made celebrating even better. Epic Games made a few tweaks to the victory royale declaration and players who discovered them cannot get enough.

The first big change is a slow-motion ending. Just as the final enemy dies the game goes into ultra slow motion, confetti starts to fall, and you see the dramatic ending in all of its glory. Another change to the victory royale is the graphic displayed for a winner. Toss in some new victory music and you have yourself a true celebration, no matter how you get sidetracked exploring the world. The game is ultimately about winning and increasing the fanfare only adds to the fun.

Fortnite player MAMBA XO won 2 early season matches and display their great new victories in squad mode. The new victory can be seen in every mode, even if you’re playing 50 versus 50. So get out there Fortnite fans and earn your victory Royale.

1. Heavy Shotguns

One of the best parts about dropping into a Fortnite battle is seeing what weapons you discover lying around or hidden in a chest. With such a large arsenal to choose from it’s easy to lose track of all the different options. And when it comes to shotguns, there are multiple types to choose from including the heavy shotgun. In previous seasons of Fortnite, the gun wasn’t the best, especially when compared to the pump shotgun. But Epic Games has included some subtle changes to help with the way the gun is used. In previous seasons the heavy shotgun would only shoot five pellets out. This limited the coverage the shotgun had when it hit enemies.

Epic Games decided to double the pellet output, by including ten pellets instead of five. This subtle change makes a huge difference, especially when other players try to dodge your shots. The range of the heavy shotgun is much improved as well. When the heavy shotgun first got its buff, Epic Games accidentally increased in damage to extreme amounts. And once the glitch was found, Epic Games got rid of it, but the heavy shotgun can still create some heavy damage. If you have room in your inventory, this weapon is definitely worth holding on to and works well in the crowded 50 versus 50.

10 Facts about Uncharted

The franchise has set an industry-wide standard for having a captivating story along with, excellent third-person gameplay. Therefore, there’s bound to be some interesting chunks of information. So we’re here with ten facts about the Uncharted series, that you may not have known.

10. Nathan Drake

I think everyone agrees with it, Nathan Drake is cool, he’s charismatic, rebellious, adventurer loving, treasure hunting badass. Therefore, his personality really shines through his moments of relatable jests and overall good guy behavior. When Naughty Dog was beginning to flesh out exactly who the lead character would be of the first Uncharted game, they looked at some real-life examples. During a presentation of the first game in 2008 Naughty Dog’s game designer Richard lemon champ admitted that the designers originally based Nathan Drake on Johnny Knoxville from jackass. Knoxville’s very cynical but overall nice guy attitude guided designers when they focused on creating Nathan Drake. Now Nathan Drake doesn’t do half a stupid stuff that Johnny Knoxville does.

But, Knoxville wasn’t the only inspiration for Nate as series writer Amy Hemmings said that she looked to the grit of Harrison Ford as some inspiration for the character. Even further than that, as a little evidence in uncharted 4. It’s rumored that the sound of the grappling hook is a slight image to the sound Indiana Jones’s whip makes.

9. Character Designing of Nathan Drake

The Naughty Dog designers purposely designed Nathan Drake to look like a modern everyday person. Who also happens to be really handsome and bulletproof, but that’s beside the point. They kept his clothes really simple, having him wear a plain shirt and jeans as his outfit. It was all intentional, so they could put more focus on the head model and the facial features. To create more of a cinematic game while giving extra concentration on their performance of the “motion capture” actors.

The designers utilized simple clothing design and body modeling, specifically in uncharted 4 to make sure Nathan Drake had the vibe of a relatable, yet subtly badass adventure character. One of the biggest moments that they set up in Uncharted 4 was, of course, Nathan Drake working a regular normal job and they had to sell that. It had to be convincing that this is him, who once was an awesome video game adventure badass, could also become a regular person at a regular job. And thankfully going back from their design from uncharted 1 it seemed to have come full circle pretty well.

8. Nathan Drake and Harrison Ford

What does Nathan Drake and Harrison Ford actually have in common?

Other than the previously discussed fact that Ford was an inspiration for Nate’s character. The situation gets a little more meadow when you learn that Sony actually used Harrison Ford and advertisements that promoted drake’s Deception. Now, I know you are wondering “dude why didn’t I see any of these,” that’s because they were only broadcast in Japan.

These TV spots were really simple enough. Ford looking intently into his TV as he’s playing drake’s Deception and whispering commands like jump into the DualShock controller. I guess it’s confirmed our suspicions Indiana Jones is a true gamer.

7. Concept Art

If you’re working on creating a video game or any piece of media. There’s a lot to be said about the importance of sketching out your ideas before you execute them. Whether that be like a story or even some Concept Art this process is usually essential for getting the entire team on the same subjective wavelength. However, there are a lot of hurdles to jump through, if you want to create some good looking 3d concepts for cheap. Softwares like AutoCAD and 3ds max can cost you thousands of dollars just to get creating concept art.

Robh Ruppel art director at Naughty Dog for the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. In 2009 he used a free and open software for 3d sketching and that surprised people. That’s right a developer creating one of the biggest most popular and expensive games using Sketchup. Well, it surprised everyone. Google owns Sketchup, it is a tool that prides itself on being free and for everyone to use. Ruppel said that the tool helped him to create beautiful concept art in record time. And he heavily used it in creating the Shambhala area at the end of the game. It turns out Uncharted is a really good example of why tools like these should be open-source.

6. Game Development

Developing a video game is no easy task it takes a lot of money, a large number of people, and thousands of hours of work, to produce even a playable demo. let alone a game series that gets bigger with every entry. The Uncharted series is obviously no different in this regard. In 2011 during the late development of the third Uncharted game “Drake’s Deception,” the developer and Naughty Dog’s co-president Christoph Balestra tweeted out a photo of how much space does all of the Uncharted III’s assets occupies.

Essentially the stuff that goes into a game like 3d models sound effects and textures, took nearly 25 TB hard drive. And it took up almost the entire HDD leaving around 700 GB left. Well, 25 TB is a lot of storage. And nowadays most consoles are available with 1 TB of storage. So, it’s no surprise, that at the games released developers had to really work some magic to fit the entire game on a 50 GB Blu-ray disc.

5. The mistake during E3 2015

If you’re an unchartered fan you probably watch the E3 reveal and demos of the game’s releases. Therefore, if you’ve done that you probably know of a little mistake that happened at E3 in 2015 during the demo for the final Uncharted game a Thief’s End.

During the demo on the Live stage, one of the controllers malfunctioned while everyone was watching. Nathan Drake just stood there for 30 awkward seconds, while Naughty Dog’s struggled around behind the scenes to figure out why the game wasn’t working. And turns out both controllers on stage were just connected to another backup PlayStation 4. So a little Easter Egg in Uncharted 4 comes in the form of a PSN trophy called stage fright that pokes a little fun at the E3 mistake.

To acquire that trophy players need to keep Nate standing still at the exact point in the final game that appeared in the demo. Just 30 seconds of standing still and that bronze trophy is yours. So you got to give Naughty Dog some credit for making fun of themselves here, I always appreciate that.

4. Uncharted and Bandicoot

Not only did Naughty Dog release the Uncharted series, but they’re also responsible for everybody’s wumpa fruit loving Bandicoot crash. Now, there’s actually a wild theory out there that Crash Bandicoot and uncharted essentially take place in the same universe where some sort of meta version. This theory has actually been going for a while, you probably know about the big one in Uncharted 4. But the franchise has had small Easter eggs referencing one another throughout the games.

In the first Crash Bandicoot game, the titular characters seem to have a framed photo of Nate on his mantelpiece. This is of course in the remastered and same trilogy version. Besides that, we do have Nathan Drake’s gun holster which does have Naughty Dog on the back of it. And then, of course, there is the big famous scene in Uncharted 4, where you literally sit down on the couch with Elena and play Crash Bandicoot on an original PlayStation. I don’t know if this really does take place in the same universe, but I think it’s safe to say that in whatever universe Uncharted is in they have video games and they have crash bandicoot.

3. Hirokazu Yasuhara

Just when I thought there wasn’t any more room for crazy crossovers on this list, I was immediately proved wrong. This one is just a fun little fact and not so much of an easter egg. But evidently, there’s some other cohabitation when we’re talking about humanlike video game animals and Nathan Drake.

It turns out the lead game designer for a number of games within the Sonic the Hedgehog game series Hirokazu Yasuhara was also a game designer on the 2nd and 3rd Jak and Daxter games. Along with being a designer on the original Uncharted game. Hirokazu Yasuhara has his hands on a lot since he’s peppered his resume with “Pac-man and Mario”. So we’re just recognizing real talent here.

2. Nathan’s Luck Meter

It’s not easy to swing across massive caverns take bullet fire from dozens of different enemies and get out alive. Some might say that in order to survive something like that it takes a little bit of luck. And clearly according to lead game designers from Naughty Dog Nathan Drake literally lives off of his luck.

In July of 2018 animator Jonathan Cooper tweeted out a bombshell that instead of being a regenerated health system, it turns out that the red UI that represents hits on Nate is actually just a luck meter. The redder the screen, the less lucky Nathan Drake is becoming and the luckier enemies get at getting a clear shot at him to take him out. The game and the screen getting more cluttered and red is literally Nathan Drake’s luck running out.

1. Why Chloe? Why Not Sullivan and Sam?

Fans of the Uncharted series are all too familiar with the standalone expansion Lost legacy. Which I genuinely like, but this expansion is the first not to include Uncharted’s lead character Nate and instead it centers on Chloe. But of course, this expansion left a lot of fans wondering, why did Naughty Dog go the route of exploring the story of Chloe? rather than one that focused on Sully and Sam, considering uncharted 4 set that up so well.

Well, excitingly enough it turns out that Naughty Dog did consider a Sam and Sully story. But they kept coming back to the idea of Chloe. In an interview with The Daily Star in 2017, the game’s creative director and writer Shaun Escayg. And Naughty Dog’s director of communications Arne Meyer both of them explained why they chose to tell Chloe’s story. They said, “the Sam and Sully story grew quickly and grew very big quickly but it just wasn’t as compelling.” Instead, the designers decided to go with something that felt a bit more fresh, to explore more deeply the character motivations of Chloe.

But thankfully enough Naughty Dog said in the same interview that they weren’t completely shutting out the possibility of a Sam and Sully expansion in the future. And honestly, I’m holding onto hope, because that’s a game I really want to see. If we’re not getting another Nathan Drake uncharted give me a sully uncharted.

14. Genesis Alpha One

Genesis alpha One is set in a near-future ravaged by Wars corrupt regimes and devastating pollution. Building manages space vessel farm resources deal with terrifying alien infestations, clone creatures and explore a vast randomly generated universe. Genesis Alpha 1 will hit September 4th On all major platforms.

13. PLANET ALPHA

Planet alpha is set in what’s being touted as a beautiful alien world filled with mystery and danger. You’re pursued by relentless enemies and you must harness the power of night day as you struggle to survive. The game itself is a platformer and it’s got a very stylish look to it and that’s right away what’s gonna captivate you the design of this game looks incredible. Planet Alfa is a game not too many people are talking about. When it was announced it seemed to have some traction. But that is also dissipated, hopefully, as we get closer to the September 4th release, anticipation picks up for planet alpha. Because it does have a lot of potential.

12. DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

If you want to look at the big JRPGs Dragon Quest XI is a return to form for the Dragon Quest franchise. And we haven’t seen a traditional Dragon Quest game in a very long time. Now we have Dragon Quest back to what it’s known for. This is a traditional turn-based JRPG it looks to have a great art style a great turn-based battle system. Everything we know and love from Dragon Quest is here, DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age drops on September 4th.

11. Destiny 2: Forsaken

Even though, Destiny 2 is not the most popular game in the world. But, it looks like it’s going the same path of Destiny where the initial game wasn’t all that great. But then the expansion made it so much better. “Forsaken” is the third major expansion and its beginning year of Destiny 2. You can compare it to Destiny taken King expansion. Forsaken will have a large overhaul on gameplay it’ll also have a big story influence and a large portion of the expansion will take place in the reef. Destiny 2 forsaken is dropping on September 4th.

10. ZONE OF THE ENDERS THE 2nd RUNNER: M∀RS

As Kojima is best known from Metal Gear Solid. He also worked on a little Mech Franchises known as ZONE OF THE ENDERS. While not as big of a commercial success as Metal Gear Solid, it did have a very good critical reception. Zone of the enders was a fantastic pair of games and now the second game is coming back on the PlayStation 4. It’ll be running in 4k and if you have PlayStation VR they gave us fully playable through that as well. So that should add another layer to the gameplay experience. 09. Marvel’s Spider-Man

This is without a doubt the biggest PlayStation 4 game of September. Maybe, the biggest PlayStation 4 a game for the rest of the year. Maybe that’s a little hyperbolic, but it’s Marvel’s Spider-Man. Yes, this is one of the most anticipated games of the year alongside so many great games like God of War and upcoming towns like Red Dead Redemption 2.

But, it’s been up there with the best of them. Insomniac looks for a home run in the world of Spider-Man. And they look to have done a marvelous job, no dought this game looks absolutely incredible. From the attention to detail, the incredible visuals, the robust gameplay. It seems to have everything and the makings for a tremendous Spider-Man game. Which is something we’ve been looking for, for a very long time. There have been good spider-man games, but there has never been that truly excellent Spider-Man game. And with Marvel Spider-Man it could truly be amazing it drops on September 7 Only on PlayStation 4. And it is one of the most important in our 14 Awesome Games list.

Black Ops 4 System Requirements

Treyarch has announced the details of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 PC open beta test. They also revealed the Black Ops 4 System Requirements for the upcoming Game. COD: Black Ops 4 is the first ever Call of Duty title to launch exclusively through Blizzard‘s Battle.net, and it arrives on October 12th. Therefore, if you want to join the fight, COD BL-OPS 4 open beta kicks off today, August 11th.

Besides that, the whole series of Call Of Duty runs on the Infinity Ward Engine. The IW Engine itself is based upon id Tech 3. However, Treyarch hasn’t officially announced the engine for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 yet. In the whole series of Call Of Duty, every developer takes a turn to work upon the Engine with special graphical effects and different capabilities, passing it down to the next game. And we expect the same Engine, Performance, and quality from Black Ops 4 as the Call Of Duty: WWII. Which offers minor advantages over Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s IW 7.0 Next Gen game engine.

In short COD BL-OPS 4 will likely offer very similar performance to Call of Duty: WWII. There is also a bonus for players in BL-OPS 4, i.e an open beta on PC. Therefore, if you are not sure about your PC’s performance, you can always test performance on the Beta.

Open Beta Start time and Platforms

You must get a Black Ops 4 beta code by pre-ordering the game to gain access. If from a store, you will receive a code from the retailer, while digital purchases will grant your account automatic access. On PC, you download the game through BattleNet. You don’t need to pre-order to play the Black Ops 4 beta, though doing so will give you one day of early access.

So we can fairly consider that COD Black Ops 4 is going to be a great looking game. Although it would put a fair amount of load of your RAM and VRAM. We have already read issues regarding COD WWII with 8GB RAM and COD BL-OPS 4 Suggests 8GB minimum RAM, Treyarch are almost assuredly saying that 6GB RAM flat-out won’t run Black Ops 4.

However, the system requirements for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 are nearly similar to Call of Duty: WWII. But if you want to play this game on the 1080p resolution, you are going to need at least Geforce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 390. Because that 2GB VRAM on GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7850 will supposedly only support low-resolution settings. Therefore, if you have the urge to play COD Black Ops 4 on MAX settings, you would probably need GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 580.

Besides that, we should keep it in mind that these system specs and 25 GB of size are only for the beta version of COD BL-OPS 4. It may change at the time of launch, as we can make an assumption after seeing the COD: WWII was a 90GB install at launch.
