Side-Quests That Were Better Than The Main Story

lets about side quests. You know those lovely gaming moments that break free from the often constraining shackles of the main quest. And provide absolute nuggets of fun. Well, sometimes these little side quests end up being better than the main stories of which they’re a part of. so why don’t we just dig into their mind, and find some of this sweet gold. These are the Side-Quests That Were Better Than The Main Story

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Sit in Judgment

Sit in Judgment

Dragon Age: Inquisition is a lovely and rather beautiful game. And because as you would expect to be, a Bioware title has more content in it. A lot of people did moan a little bit saying that, because of the interweaving plot threads of the main storyline. It was often a bit convoluted and a little bit confusing. Therefore passing judgment is a clear example of what this game is about. Making choices with cathartic results. it’s like a mini Game of Thrones, as you hold the decision of life and death in your hands.

Red Dead Redemption

I know you

I know you

Now, Red Dead Redemption has a pretty brilliant narrative so it’s going to take a lot to top it. And there no other topper than this stranger mission. ‘I know you’ this is fantastically weird as it’s a quest in which John Marston appears to be meeting with God or death itself. The quest line sees you completing tasks for the man which acts as morality tests for John. And each step gives you more and more cryptic clues about Marsten’s future. Eventually, you end up pulling a gun on him, shooting him but nothing happens and it’s really eerie actually because you end up being at the exact spot in which John Marston dies, oh yeah ‘spoiler alert’

Borderlands 2

You are cordially invited

Borderlands as a franchise is basically a comedy routine with lots and lots of shooting in between and as such. The devs needed to come up with more and more interesting and insane ways to keep that frenzied feeling fresh. And that’s where ‘tiny tina’ steps in. Tiny Tina is a brilliant, loveable and she is par for the course in this theory’s utterly insane character. And defending her while she has a tea party is hilarious and brutal in equal measure. It’s the dialogue here that makes the situation brilliant. And the equation of insanity plus quality writing times by violence is what Borderlands is all about.

Dark Souls

Siegmeyer of Catarina

Siegmeyer of Catarina

I know what you all are thinking. “Dark Souls doesn’t explicitly have side quests apart from secret areas and painted worlds.” But for the sake of this record. And, because of how difficult it can be to follow some of these NPC storylines through. We’re gonna consider them as side-quests for this case. Sigma is one of my favorite Dark Souls characters. And the first time I saw his story through to the end, I felt genuinely moved.

He begins so positively seeking adventure, yet always being stumped by challenges that we the chosen undead eventually overcome. He’s always pleasant and happy but this begins to fade as we rescue him time and time again. This is meant to be a great warrior, but we’re almost embarrassing him through helping. The loss of purpose at our own hands is what leads him to hollow. And it’s truly sad to come to the end of his mini-narrative. Yet because of this power, because of this character, I would argue that it’s actually engaging than the main narrative. you may think I’m wrong but as a contained experience. This was more rewarding for me.

Assassin’s Creed 2 Brotherhood and Revelations

Side-Quests of Catacombs

Side-Quests of Catacombs

sometimes you don’t need a good story to make a sidequest memorable. All you really need to do is make sure that it absolutely nails the game’s mechanics. And that is definitely the case of the catechu missions found across the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

The player is tasked with a combination of parkour, fighting, and stabbing. That pushes the player to use each option to its full extent. As a result, they often become more memorable than whatever old ‘Desmond’.

The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask

A Testament of Love

A Testament of Love

While many may remember Majora’s Mask about the huge moon that’s about to crash into the place. we have to admit, that when it comes to the heart and soul of the game, it is all about the lover’s quest.

This tale of two people torn apart requires a massive amount of time spent by the player to get everything lined-up. And as a result, it becomes entirely engrossing as you finally get the pair together. And they confess their love for each other, the moon hits, and the game once again resets. It’s a sobering moment, but one that sure feels totally justified. These fleeting moments are more important than many other things in the game. And being able to give them this brief window of happiness, puts the entire narrative into context. I felt their loss way more than seeing the moon smashing into the town.

The Witcher 3

No Place Like Home

No Place Like Home

Playing Witcher 3 on PC with the ultra high setting was the most awesome experience. Besides that, this quest stands in contrast to the entire rest of the game and offers a race of real and interesting experience. Essentially you just relax with your friends and have a beer. The entire quest is made up of well-written dialogue conversation and funny moments. And you barely even have control of Jerald, instead just choosing his next sentence.

Then there’s the fact that you get blackout drunk, chase a goat and end up trying to convince an elf that you’re yennefer by wearing her clothes. It’s kind of like the perfect night out.

Oblivion:

Whodunit

Whodunit

Trying to pick a favorite side quest from a Bethesda title is a tough decision. However, amongst them all, there is one side quest which not only is absolutely brilliant but also it is one of the funniest experiences in an Elder Scrolls game.

The task is simple, murder everyone as a party but the approach is far more complex you can choose whatever method you want to in order to dispatch them yeah that’s right it is as good as it sounds. Through manipulation, subterfuge, and of course the little backstabbing, you can remain the sole survivor and even get away with the murders through lies if you’re that damn good or you can just wade in with an ‘axe’ and just forgo the bonuses choice is yours.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Professor Pyg

Professor Pyg

Arkham Knight was quite the divisive title when it came out, wasn’t it? on the one hand, you had a beautifully realized Gotham, you got the ability to swing about the place like a god damn madman and you had a vault of villains both young and old for you to destroy. But on the other hand, you got some pretty clunky gameplay you got an over-reliance on the Batmobile and he got a story that tried to have a huge twist but everyone spotted it coming from a mile off.

However, one moment that shone in the dark was this quest focusing on Professor Pyg. The mission was pretty simple, tracked down the swine loving surgeon. For the murder and mutilation of six corpses around Gotham. But the lead-up to the encounter was genuinely creepy. As you learn more about pyg and he reveals how he wants to make everyone perfect, it gives you a quest that becomes a horror story. Even after defeating him the dialogue between Pyg and Batman is superb, as Batman effectively makes Pyg sick by telling him he failed, triggering some horrible mental issues that he’s got going on. As if you weren’t aware that he had them already. But the best part is, is the voice actor who actually is none other than the guy who played howling mad Murdock in the A-team

The Mass Effect 2

Loyalty Missions

Loyalty Missions

It is a bit of a cheat for me to put all of the loyalty missions as one entry on this list. But when you get to the closing stages of Mass Effect 2 and you really understand how much it mattered what you did with your team I think you’d understand why. Now, in truth, some of these missions vary in terms of quality, so if I was to pick one it would be from my gas masked good time girl ‘Tali’ whose mission is ‘trying to defend her dad from accusations’ of messing with the sex robot race ‘the Gath’.

The reason this mission stands so highly is that the tone pacing an action are balanced perfectly with the choices that weigh heavy on your mind and threatened to break up not only Tali and her father but the entire Quarian race if you so fudge it. Now, The Mass Effect 2 whose main storyline was pretty perfect, but this was like a condensed version of it.

Most awaited and demanding games of 2018

The holiday season is upon us. And, we have a new Powerful fleet of NVIDIA ready to launch its new generation of Graphics card. Besides that, we also have a list of AAA-rated PC games to test those Graphics card out. These ‘Most awaited and demanding games of 2018’ are set to release in second half of 2018. let’s have a look at those games…

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is an absolutely gorgeous game. And it is definitely one of the Most awaited and demanding games of 2018. Even if  Ubisoft doesn’t improve the graphics of this game over Assassin’s Creed Origins, it won’t affect Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s popularity.

As we have seen with Assassin’s Creed Origins. It totally depends on your PC’s performance that how this game looks.  Unless Ubisoft makes some major improvements to performance, a very solid quad-core processor is going to be required to hit 60 FPS.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Shadow of the Tomb Raider just about pipped Fallout 76 to the final spot. Thanks to the small part to the Geothermal Valley. Anyone who has played Rise of the Tomb Raider is familiar with this infamous spot. This hub area absolutely tanks performance. Now, with the news that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will feature the largest hub areas yet in the series. We are willing to bet it’s going to hit hard on our frames per second. It should be worth it though. As Shadow of the Tomb Raider is sure to be one of the finest looking games in existence when it launches on September 14th.

Forza Horizon 4

if you look back at Forza horizon’s third entry to its series, and its system requirements. You could make a pretty good assumption about Forza Horizon 4’s system requirements. Most importantly, if you think of all the money it is going to cost, it could make to your eyes weep.

Its release is set in Britain this time around with a dynamic season. And it is going to support 72 players online at the same time, in the same world simultaneously. Its a much more magnificent game that we have ever seen before in any other open-world racing game, making it a perfect showcase for the awesome power of your gaming rig.

Just Cause 4

Just Cause 3 was a demanding game in its own way, and there’s little sign that Just Cause 4 will be any different. Avalanche likes to throw everything at its pyrotechnic showcase. A map that is hundreds of square kilometers wide, chain reaction explosions, fast and energetic gameplay. And, for the first time ever, dynamic weather effects that include physics-based tornadoes that will tear entire towns up.

It’s the sort of thing that does CPUs and graphics cards weeping. Particularly considering Just Cause 3’s widespread performance. Avalanche has moved Just Cause 4 to its new Apex game engine, so this could prove to be of a wild card.

Battlefield V

Arguably, there is no other development studio in the world that can touch DICE’s output. Especially in Multiplayer field. The fact that they release these games in every one or two years. And manage to make them look so stunning every time. It is just the result of their talent.

The Frostbite 3 engine is fantastic as well. Every game released on it looks awesome and runs great. However, that doesn’t mean Battlefield V is going to be running on a calculator anytime soon. The gameplay looks fabulous, but when you count in 64-players, vehicles, destruction, and huge maps. Battlefield 5 is going to be a real test for our gaming rigs. It is the sort of game that a lot of people are going to be able to run on Low with any problems, but the High and Ultra settings are going to need the very best from our GPUs.

Best Multiplayer games of 2017

 Best Multiplayer games of 2017

Gaming has its roots in players playing against each other in arcades. Whether by directly facing off or just trying to beat each other’s high scores. So, of course, multiplayer is a hugely integral component of video games. 2017 Offered us a great amount of fantastic multiplayer games. let’s take a look at those games.

Lawbreakers

Lawbreakers cover

‘Lawbreakers’ is Cliff Bleszinski’s entry into the hero shooter genre. It does have a little bit of a grittier look than overwatch. But it also retains a lot of what makes hero shooters interesting. Also despite being a little bit grittier it still has a nice very colorful palette. There’s a certain verticality that they want to emphasize with the game. Having levels that definitely go up and down a lot more than your typical shooters levels.

But I will say this game does face a lot of stiff competition. This is a pretty crowded genre, and it has to be really good to stand out. But if there is anybody who can do it it’s probably Cliff Bleszinski.

Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th cover

Now, what if an imperfect game actually really succeeds in some pretty big ways. First, it’s an asymmetric game which feels like it should evolve. So it has a hurdle in perception to get over. And the launch of the game didn’t specifically do a great job getting over that hurdle. There were numerous bugs and server issues. But that has been addressed and it has left us with a pretty interesting game.

There’s a lot of interesting details in the game all the way down to its music cues. Which, depending on how fast Jason is running actually changes. This big hide-and-seek game actually works really well, rather being a little inconsistent. But that’s kind of to be expected with an asymmetric multiplayer game. And if this is the next evolution of evolving, then this is a genre that might actually have some legs.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite cover

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite obviously continues the tradition of perhaps one of the most chaotic fighting games there is. But if you’ve ever played a Marvel vs. Capcom title you know that they’re also primo fighting game material. They’ve got what you want if you want fast-paced chaotic fighting game action, it delivers on that. And has delivered on that for years and years.

Now, this version of the game has never disappointed me in the past. I can’t imagine this being a bad game. I mean unless they slice it up and do the stupid modern fighting game thing. Where there’s no content unless you buy stuff. well, we don’t know. Hopefully, they don’t. Maybe they’ll learn a lesson from Street Fighter and the type of reception that they got.

Divinity original sin II

Divinity original sin II cover

Divinity original sin II is a phenomenal single-player game. But on top of that, it is such a good tactical multiplayer RPG. Basically, if you can imagine tactical strategy RPGs as a MOBA, it’s the game’s multiplayer mode. And it is so cool as it works incredibly well. On top of that, you have the divinity original sin aesthetic. Which, let’s just be honest, it is one of the better aesthetics in a game right now.

You would think it’d be really impossible with the way that the game is set up. But somehow it actually manages to put itself together in one of the better more cohesive multiplayer experiences. especially in turn-based RPG.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon wildlands

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon wildlands cover

A tactical open world, first-person shooter, with some damn good co-op. If this is a game you like in single-player, then this is a game you will ‘love’ in multiplayer. You and three other players explore this massive game world, and you basically get to experience the campaign together. It’s a great game as it is, but even better if you play it with friends.

It’s been criticized for not having a massive jump over previous Tom Clancy games. But I think it’s probably the best recent Tom Clancy game. It doesn’t introduce a heck of a lot of new features, but it’s just a lot of quality. And I think that it’s not entirely revolutionary, yet certainly worth your time.

For honor

For honor cover arts

For honor is a sort of action based hand-to-hand combat multiplayer game. Which I had to say, if you’ve ever played, it’s one of the most interesting experiences. Now, not everybody loves this game, however part of the reason was the matchmaking, which just got a massive fix. I tried it out again after the fix and frankly, it works just much better. It’s much more functional, in case that something that’s kept you off of it.

It’s kind of a game that is specific, so there’s going to be some people that don’t like it. But if you think that a melee game where you essentially build your own character class. Within the conformist of hand-to-hand combat sounds appealing to you. It’s pretty much that and this game wins at it, it’s a very good game.

Halo Wars II

Halo Wars II cover

In my opinion, it is a significant improvement over the first Halo Wars. For one, the game was developed by Creative Assembly, who, as you may know, did the Total War series. And all of that experience shows through in Halo Wars II.

In my opinion, it is a much more cohesive RTS than the first outing. And there are so many different multiplayer modes that you will never get bored of it. There’s co-op, deathmatch, stronghold, domination, blitz there’s just so many different ways to play. Blitz is actually my favorite because it brings in the collectible card game element, instead of the base building element. And believe it or not, I actually enjoy that more. I mean for 2017 I sincerely doubt you’re going to do a lot better than this game. There are some minor issues like for instance the AI, the pathfinding is a little weird at times. But it’s really the ‘multiplayer’ where the game shines as if it was specifically designed for that in my opinion. And come on its ‘Halo’. Halo is a huge part of gaming tradition at this point.

Absolver

Absolver cover

It is a highly stylized RPG slash fighting game. It is interesting because the fighting system is very much like a 3d fighting game. You can see a little bit of that Witcher style tactical dodging. But the fighting itself revolves around martial arts move sets.

The game intends to sort of merge various multiplayer modes. Such as free-roaming, co-operative, and competitive play all into one thing. Intending to feel like a massively multiplayer online game. The game also has a really unique style, some describe it as hyperrealism. But the people in the game don’t really look hyper-realistic. And the world itself does trend towards a ‘so real it’s not real’ kind of look. It’s very pretty and I think this is a really interesting game.

Destiny 2

Destiny 2 cover

It is a game that I expect to actually be what destiny was when they first started. Now when you talk about destiny. You have to keep in mind that destiny has evolved into what I would consider being a very good game. Through expansions and updates has managed to turn itself into what it was advertised in the first place. And now that they’re releasing a game with all of that experience under their belt, that starts off at this point I think they are probably in a good place.

Destiny wasn’t my favorite when it came out. But I’ve very rarely seen people who have revisited it later and said wow this didn’t get any better and again it’s Bungie they have first-person shooting down I think they just didn’t have level design and multiplayer free roam down because I don’t think they’ve ever done that now they kind of have that experience and I’m excited about it, Destiny 2 should be pretty badass actually.

Star Wars Battlefront 2

Star wars Battelfront II cover

I’m a huge fan of the original Battlefront, however, I had a lot of criticism for the amount of content. I also legitimately just hated that there wasn’t a single-player campaign but that’s being remedied so let’s talk about the multiplayer. The looks of it they’ve really layered out the multiplayer in a good way.

There’s actually quite a few balancing issues that have clearly been addressed. The heroes are not so overpowered, they can’t be defeated but they are definitely on market advancement over the regular units. they now have also phase based multiplayer levels in which there are three different areas of the map for you to be fighting, and we’ve seen that as feed palace and frankly I really like that type of idea. I think it all comes together to create something that is much much more than the first game which is exactly what we needed. Also, all updates will be free and everybody will have access to everything, which is as far as I’m concerned the biggest improvement.

Gwent

Gwent cover

It is the card game from The Witcher which is such a damn fun game, it makes sense that they wanted to do this legitimately it’s very easy to get sucked into Gwent. Which is exactly why it’s a good thing they’re making this game, now they’ve expanded the pond of Gwent, given a lot more courage a lot more rules and frankly, I’m excited to get lost in this game. Again frankly I’ve gotten lost in it in the Witcher game and it was actually quite a while where I ended up really distracting myself from what I was trying to do in the game. Just because Gwent so damn fun now I get to do that with real life. Gwent is available to on PC, PS4 & XBOX ONE

Crackdown 3

Crackdown 3 cover

It is exactly what I’ve wanted forever, I love Red Faction, I love destructible environments. I’ve always wanted a game that placed you in a more densely populated area with those same capabilities. Crackdown 3 is that game.

And it has been a long time coming. The technology behind this game has been extensive in its development. And they want to make sure that when you go into this you get exactly what it says it is. That’s why there’s cloud processing to handle all the extra physics that might not be normally used in a game like this, but they want you to be able to bring down buildings. And not some of the buildings, not some of the structures, not some of the destruction, that you expect out of crackdown 3, all of it.

And that’s why I’m happy that they’ve waited this long to release it because I feel like the only reason they would have is to ensure that it is exactly what it looks like it is.

Quake champions

Quake champions cover

Which is a long way to return to the Quake franchise, they’re doing it in the style of a hero based, class-based, shooter which ultimately leads us to have to bring up overwatch, the idea of an over quake or a quake for watch is basically, in my opinion, a very good idea, because quake handles a very specific way in a way that overwatch frankly doesn’t.

Overwatch is a very different game from quake obviously, but incorporating those class elements into quake I think it’s going to result in a very interesting and fun experience that I have a feeling will please old quake fans as well as bring a lot of new fans to the series. I don’t know if they’re gearing up for a single-player quake and this is kind of the way to reintroduce people to it as well as create a multiplayer gaming platform that they can charge microtransactions on, I have no idea but I look forward to enjoying quake champions.

Call of Duty World War 2

Call of Duty World War 2 cover

It will most likely bring you all of the weird stuff that Call of Duty multiplayer brings, from zombies to totally out there modes frankly, the most creative part of a Call of Duty game is typically the ‘multiplayer’ and I know that they’re not going to do this, but you know what I would love, if they did a multiplayer mode where all the infinite warfare was in a world war 2 setting.

I think that would just be hilarious as well as interesting because you’d have the option to do it which I think is basically the main complaint about that stuff and also it’d be really fun troll with you ask me, but obviously this is the Call of Duty game that people have been requesting for several years now so to really pull out no stops on the multiplayer this one basically has to be the best one that they’ve done in a very long time.

Otherwise, they are probably going to lose some people, so I fully expect it to be a no-holds-barred COD multiplayer experience.

Nintendo arms

Nintendo arms cover

On the surface, this looks like an extremely basic game that might involve a lot of motion control gimmicks, but what it actually turned out to be it was a fantastic fighting game. So I’ll say these 3d fighting games are often things that are specifically difficult to make, on the other hand, Absolver looks great because it is more than just a fighting game, Nintendo Arms manages to be nothing but a 3d fighting game that works so incredibly well and manages to be incredibly refreshing in the way only a Nintendo product can be.

You’ve got spring arms you punch with them it is kind of ultra-boxing, there’s other moves and throws and whatnot, but really the best way to understand how good this game is, is simply to experience it. It is unique and it’s beyond enjoyable.

For Honor’s new season announced

For Honor’s new season announced. The details and release date were revealed this week.

About this game

For Honor Poster

For Honor’s combat is the kind of melee game we always wished for but never thought we’d actually get to play. In this game, third-person action is just an exterior. Inside, it hides a strategically complex fighting game. Besides that, mixing team-based action with less interesting solo modes are all built on the most flexible system. And technically complete melee fighting system I’ve ever experienced.

For Honor grows and falls on its fighting system. “The Art of Battle” by Ubisoft is the reason ‘For Honor’ is more like a traditional fighting game. At first, it appears to be a warrior’s game, rather it is more like a street fighting game. Locking onto an opponent puts you into “Duel mode,” where you can change your guard to block left, right, or top. Because you can only block incoming attacks from the direction you’re guarding. Therefore, you have to read which direction your opponent is guarding. And attack from one of the two directions from which they’re vulnerable to successfully hit.

New content in the update

For Honor’s new season will bring in the new map. Therefore, this new map will be available in Tribute, Duel, Brawl, Skirmish and Elimination. Besides that, it will also contain new updates on the Warden and the Valkyrie following with an update on the Ranking system as well.
Ranking System will contain “Master” and “Grand Master” ranks. Certainly, these are “reserved for the fiercest warriors”. A new Ranking Leader Board will arrive too, to coincide with the new Ranks. And above all, players will be allowed to join Ranked ‘Duel matches’ outside Tournaments.

All battle outfits are now permanently reduced by 30%. For Honor’s new Season is just rolling out the changes and I can’t wait to try them all out. And there is a good news for the newcomers, “For Honor is free to download between August 16 to September 15”.

For Honor’s season 7 will be available to play on PC, PS4 and XBOX ONE from 2nd of August.

Things Pro PS4 Gamers Know

Things Pro PS4 Gamers know. There are a few things about PS4 that newcomers won’t quickly get used to. And Pro players will definitely know about and we have a list of those features right here for you guys.

PlayStation 4 has been a part of the gaming world for so long. Still its quite amazing that this console is still going strong nearly half a decade after its release. And is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down anytime soon. While the console is tremendously popular there are some lesser-known PS4 features that have passed under everybody’s radar.

Share gameplay footage with the push of a button

The share button on the DualShock 4 controller has truly enabled a whole lot of opportunities for social media gamers. It seems like everyone wants to get internet famous nowadays. And you’re really just one click of the share button away from doing so on the ps4. If you like taking screenshots more than making gameplay videos. You can use the easy screenshot setting on the share button. And take screenshots with the press of a share button instead of holding it down.

Beside from quickly taking and sharing screenshots. There are also many other ways in which this simple button can enhance your gaming experience. For starters, you can stream gameplay footage to your friends. To accomplish this simply press the share button and choose broadcast gameplay. Once you’ve chosen the streaming service of your choice. Which is probably going to be either YouTube or twitch, you’re all set trying to be a pro streamer. And getting your facecam up at the same time it’s a whole different story. But you could start with some gameplays until all of your crazy fans beg you for your facecam.

Create a group of your favorite gamers

Createing a group of your favorite gamers

Communicating with people on the ps4 can prove to be a huge pain, like literally a huge pain. After all trying to type anything with a controller is an extremely time-consuming process. if we’re being honest I think we’d rather get waterboarded than type using a controller. Now, trying to form a group that will play a particular game together is nothing short of exhausting. Not only do your friends have to own the game. But they have to be online at the same time as you and be down to play. It’s a lot to ask for.

Thankfully this problem is nullified with the effective little feature on the PS4. Basically, instead of having to individually communicate with all of your friends. You can simply form a group to send collective messages. This can be done by going to the friends’ tab in settings and selecting add a favorite group. Choose the friends you want to play a game with and you’re all set.

Not only can you create a group chat on the ps4. But you can also create a community of all your favorite gamers. You can each give updates about when you’ll be online and keep each other in the updated. It’s a really neat feature.

HDMI device link

Enableing HDMI device link

Imagine integrating your ps4 with your TV. To such an extent that the level of functionality you’ll enable will be truly something else. Now, this feature isn’t incredibly necessary but if you ever get really lazy sometimes it’s completely worth it. This feature is especially useful since the PS4 has become more than just a simple gaming console. It’s a gateway to a whole new world of entertainment. You’ll have complete control of your entire entertainment center by selecting the enable HDMI device link option on your PS4.

The sheer number of features that will be opened up to you is quite frankly astounding. Just to give you a taste of these features, your PS4 will turn on and off automatically with your TV. And it will automatically switch over to the correct HDMI port.

That’s right now you don’t need to grab that TV remote that’s all the way across the room. You just need to press that PS button to turn your PS4 On and your TV turns On with it. You don’t even need to switch the source because it automatically goes to the right HDMI port. It may not seem like an extremely useful feature but you’ll quickly fall in love with it. The ps4 is quite simply the lazy person’s dream.

Quick menu

Quick menu option on PS4 screen

The major focus of the PlayStation 4 was on improving the overall level of gaming immersion to a considerable extent. And one can confidently say that they’ve achieved this goal. Sony reworked the share button and they reworked the way we communicate with our friends. But the focal point of this topic has to be the quick menu system. It promotes a seamless gaming experience, this quick menu is an absolute gem.

By tapping the PS button all the important system options are available to you in the palm of your hand. You can control the sound, your devices, check which of your friends are online, play some music. Set your online status, create a party, turn your PS4 off or put it on rest mode. And even customize the items on the quick menu.

With this service, you can basically alter the settings of the PS4, without having to leave your game. And the menu only takes up half of the screen. So, if you’re playing online, you can still get a glimpse of what’s going on in the game. This can prove to be incredibly helpful. Since any small problems can be fixed with ease without having to abandon your game altogether. The quick menu can be a lifesaver, once you learn about everything it has to offer.

PlayStation app

Mobile PS4 app logo

You could use this app for a seamless experience. Smartphones have pretty much taken over our lives, it’ll be hard to find one person who doesn’t have a smartphone. And a large number of companies are already utilizing this technology to its fullest extent. By integrating their services with creative smartphone apps. We are seeing more and more incredible mobile games and some creative companion app to console games on smartphones. Enabling this level of functionality is truly amazing.

And you bet that Sony is obviously not in the backseat when it comes to this technology. There’s an official PlayStation app that you can download and it’s beyond useful. Link this app with your console. And you’ll be able to access information that you generally had to use your console to survey. If you are wondering, what can you do with this app? well, think about the most annoying thing with PS4.

The first thing that comes to mind is sending messages, right?. Well, using the PlayStation app you can use your phone to type and send messages. Something that would take you half an hour on a console can be done in seconds with the app. Along with being able to send messages, you’ll be able to check which of your friends are online. And you’ll also be able to purchase games. That you can download automatically, even when you’re not at home. now that is one hell of a companion app.

Compare trophies

Trophies have always been a divisive element of modern gaming. There are some trophy lovers and some trophy haters. Gamers who prefer this system, think of it as another element of the game. That will allow them to obtain bragging rights and also develop a sense of self-satisfaction as well. These types of gamers usually stop at nothing, to get that platinum digital trophy. However, detractors have stated that trophies are basically nothing more than an inconsequential digital achievement. That only ends up extending the playtime of the game. While there’s definitely some validity to both sides of the argument. Digital trophies never hurt anyone and they add to the game.

Whatever your opinion might be about this system, it’s quite fun to show and compare your trophies with your friends. This is exactly what Sony wanted to promote, Sony wants people that compete for ps4 trophy supremacy. If you want to compare trophies on the PlayStation 4 simply select the trophies option and select compare trophies. Now, all you need to do is one thing. Select one of the many friends on your list, and a game both of you play. And instantly feel happy about the fact that your friends haven’t even come close to what you have achieved.

Wired connection

The age of the wireless internet is upon us, wires are quickly becoming obsolete. And it’s only a matter of time before we end up living in an age where wires don’t even exist. However, when it comes to maintaining reliable connectivity. The fact of the matter is, that a wired connection is infinitely better in this regard. Now, we’re just going to set the record straight. Depending on the position of the internet router in your house. It may be impossible for you to have a wired connection. Because you need to plug an Ethernet cable from the back of your router to the back of your ps4. If these two objects are nowhere near each other, you’ll have some rearranging to do. But it’s totally worth it because when it comes to console gaming reliable Internet connection is a must.

After all, how many times has slow internet impeded your multiplayer experience? Well, dreaded lag can hit us all. How many times have you been forced to stare at your PlayStation home screen until that game you want to play is downloaded or updated? setting up a wired Ethernet connection will do wonders for your overall gaming experience.

Hiding your online status

Hide your status

Well it might be possible for you to hide your online status on the ps4, the fact of the matter is there’s still the fleeting moment when you’re shown to be online when you log in, you get everyone’s hopes up and they’re about to message you and you’re somehow offline again, sometimes though that short little moment is more than enough for one of your annoying friends to pick up the fact that you are willfully trying to ignore him or her, it’s not that you don’t enjoy playing with them, it’s just that you want some solo gaming every now and then. well, it’s time to get rid of this awkward moment once and for all.

How do we do it you ask? it’s simple when the ps4 turns on and you’re at the profile selection screen don’t press X like you normally would, instead press the options button to bring up a pop-up window after you’ve done this select a login with online status and select appear the offline option.

now you’ll be able to connect to the internet without notifying any of your friends if you’re the only one playing on the console and remove the profile selection screen make sure your online status is set to appear offline when you get off so once you get back online you’ll still be appearing offline.

Voice commands

voice technology may have started off as a trick to attract attention but it’s quickly growing to become one of the most preferred modes of navigation, the strides that this technology has taken over time is nothing to scoff at and it’s only a matter of time before we start using this technology in our everyday lives. It’s mainly used when driving a car or when you talk to voice assistance on your phone but Sony has already integrated this technology seamlessly with their own console, sometimes operating a controller to navigate a menu is just too much of a hassle you want things to be done with as little effort as possible, because you just came home after a long day of work or you’re just playing old lazy guy, join the club pal.

No matter what the case maybe don’t worry because we’ve got the perfect solution for you, all you have to do is plug in a headset or plug in a set of earphones with a mic into the headphone jack of your controller and say the word “PlayStation”. There are so many commands that you can say and while I can’t tell you all of them right now why not let your console do that for you, just say all commands and you’ll be presented with a whole host of commands, you’ll instantly be shocked at all the interesting commands at your disposal.

Spotify

One of the best music streaming apps, it must be said that Spotify has grown to become a global phenomenon. When it comes to shaping the music industry as we know it, the brilliant algorithms and playlists of this service pretty much guarantee that you’ll never have to manually discover songs again, Spotify will just do that for you.

So obviously knowing how many people use Spotify each and every day Sony decided to partner with the streaming service, and connecting your console to Spotify will prove to be incredibly rewarding. To enable this functionality, the first thing you need to make sure of is that your PlayStation and smartphone should be connected to the same network, this obviously goes without saying, and once you’ve done this all you need to do is create a Spotify account or log in with an existing Spotify account and play a song. Now when you don’t feel like playing a serious game and you just want to take a break you can play some music while enjoying a game of basketball and relax.

Well, there you have it, these are the cool Things that only Pro PS4 Gamers Know.

Forza Motorsport 7 update to remove Loot Boxes

Forza Motorsport 7 announces Prize crates in Forza Motorsport 7 will be removed this winter. There will be no paid tokens for Forza Horizon 4.

Forza Motorsport 7 is a racing game developed by Turn 10 studios in collaboration with Microsoft Studios. It is available to play on both the XBOX ONE and PC.

Prize Crates

Prize Crates are loot box items in Forza Motorsport 7. Upon purchasing a Prize Crate, players get a random selection of items that can be cars, Mods, Driver Gear, Badges. Players get better items for purchasing more expensive Prize Crates that can also include Super Rare or Legendary items. loot boxes were never available for real money. Players could earn them by playing, but the common complaint was that it made the progression system a bit too slow.

Update

In an update planned for this winter, Turn 10 Studios announced that the prize crates will be removed from the Forza Motorsport 7. The studio Head Alan Hartman explained on the Forza Motorsport website. “While we’ve never charged money for prize crates in Forza Motorsport 7, their presence in the game has continued to be a source of controversy”. He also said “The overwhelming feedback has been that this system feels out of place in the game. After careful consideration, we have decided to completely remove prize crates from Forza Motorsport 7.”

The studio also stated that the upcoming Forza Horizon 4 will not have paid tokens as well. Turn 10 is now taking the first step of removing the loot boxes. They are unlocking more of the previously locked “exclusive” cars. And taking cars out of the loot boxes in general. Prize crates won’t give players a competitive advantage. Loot boxes will only offer cosmetic gears until they are removed. The Future Forza 7 updates will bring experimental drag racing, Time Attack mode, Track limits, enhanced drift steering angle, and drift scoring, and our upcoming Forza Race Regulations systems. Implementation of such a core system certainly takes time. That is why an exact date for the update hasn’t been announced yet.

H1Z1 Officially set to Release on PS4 in August

Daybreak Games H1Z1 first appeared on the scene back in 2015 on the PC as one of the first battle royale games and helped to launch the current craze. But the game struggled, first with bugs and server issues plaguing its initial launch. Besides that, finding its uniqueness factor dwindling as the genre grew in popularity. While the game could brag about having one of the highest player counts (150).

Because of the lack of seamless gameplay left it vulnerable to newcomers like Fortnite. After losing much of its player base, Daybreak decided on a new approach and revealed plans to launch on the PS4. The beta was a wild success, achieving 4.5 million downloads in three days, proving that H1Z1 wasn’t done yet and could still pose a threat to its competitors.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 System Requirements are Here

We’re getting to that super exciting time here in Europe where we’re just days away from the football leagues kicking off, and that can only mean one thing – a new PES. Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is out on August 30th, with a demo on August 8th, packing new Magic Moments, enhanced myClub and improved visuals for new photo-realism. Before kick-off though, here are the PES 2019 system specs.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 Minimum System Requirements

    • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
    • CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.2 GHz or AMD FX-4350 4.2GHz
    • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
    • GPU RAM: 2GB Video Memory
    • GPU: GeForce GTX 670 or Radeon HD 7870
    • HDD: 30GB Available Hard Drive Space
    • DX: DirectX 11

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 Recommended System Requirements

    • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
    • CPU: Intel Core i5-3770 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz
    • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
    • GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory
    • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 4GB or AMD Radeon R9 270X 4GB
    • HDD: 30 GB Available Hard Drive Space
    • DX: DirectX 11

Besides that, just like last year, we’re being given the current-gen Fox Engine version of PES 2019 on PC. Therefore, it should be an identical experience to playing it on PS4 or Xbox One. The system specs for PES 2019 have taken a slight raise from PES 2018 but it’s nothing too substantial.

Besides that, they suggest a decent quad-core processor. From our experience with Pro Evolution Soccer 2018. These games aren’t very demanding at all on the CPU. Therefore, we’d be surprised if a decently clocked dual-core couldn’t also provide solid performance.

Therefore, Needless to say, the primary thing you’re going to want to match for the recommended specs is the 4GB GPU. Because, There really isn’t much performance difference between the minimum and recommended graphics cards for Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. Beside from the video memory, suggesting 4GB VRAM is required for PES 2019 at 1080p. Therefore, 2GB VRAM is the minimum to play PES 2019 at 720p screen resolution.

Darksiders 3 Check out new Story and Gameplay

A new story-based cutscene from Darksiders 3 has been revealed. It’s Gunfire Games first ever Darksiders title, with the spotlight this time shining on Fury. You know, that famous horsewoman of the apocalypse.

Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III. A hack-n-slash Action Adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest. A quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horsemen. FURY must succeed where many have failed to bring balance to the forces that now ravage Earth.

Darksiders III

It is the long-anticipated, third chapter in the critically-acclaimed Darksiders franchise.

Beyond story components, Fury’s instructed to take on physical representations of the seven deadly sins. Though I’ve only seen two of those, Sloth and Wrath. I know a whole lot less about Wrath other than his sort of Overwatch-Reinhardt-esque design. But, each of the sins intends to be a little cartoonish, and wholly distinct from one another, and in some small way, should reflect a part of Fury.

Sloth’s a giant, admittedly gross bug, sitting on a throne held by other bugs, buried in a sort of ‘dungeon’ that has totally evolved from its original ‘Earthly’ design to an area that’s indicative of its ruler. He’s supposed to be a little funny, too, with some quirky one-liners and a cheeky attitude when you encounter him. Honestly, I’m excited to learn more about them, and I think playing through the levels leading up to each sin will be full of anticipation – what’s it going to look like? How’s it going to act?

Check out the latest Gameplay

Anyway, Fury has found herself in a bit of a pinch while having a chinwag with the Lord of the Hollows. He might be 80-foot tall but he’s not all bad though, resulting in Fury receiving her new Flame elemental form. This grants here all sorts of flame-based special attacks and the like, as well as the ability to explore hellish locales that were perhaps a little too toasty before.

The jury’s still out on this one, we just don’t know what Darksiders is going to be like without Vigil Games pulling the strings. The original two titles were excellent in different ways, and hopefully, Gunfire can conjure up a worthy successor.

Darksiders 3 is coming on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One come November 27th.
