The Orochium Shrine is a shrine within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s region of the Hebra Mountains, which is located just northwest of the Forgotten Temple, right next to the Snowfield region.
The exact coordinates for reaching the Orochium Shrine are -1655, 2649, and 0239. The Orochium Shrine in Zelda is extremely nice and toasty from the inside.
Once you enter the shrine, you will have to test your problem-solving skills and link your abilities to pass a series of puzzles to collect your in-game prize.
This page contains an explanatory guide about locating and entering the shrine, puzzle solutions, a walkthrough of the shrine, and the treasure chest locations of the Orochium Shrine in Zelda.
Without any further ado, let’s get started.
The Puzzle Solution of the Orochium Shrine in Zelda
The Orochium Shrine in Zelda is on the plains, just north of the Snowfield Stable in the Hebra Mountain region.
As you enter the Shine, you will see a hole to your left side, where the ball needs to go in; this is the final game to complete the shrine.
Unfortunately, this is not as easy as it seems, as you’ll have to traverse the whole dungeon again to get the ball back to the starting point.
Use the ultrasound on the in-game stone doors, which are located directly in front of the Orochium Shrine in Zelda.
Inside the doors, the players will see an impassable laser grid that will open the trapdoor towards the floor side if, by chance, you touch the lasers.
So, for now, the players have to go around the corner, to the left of the double doors, to take out the single enemy.
After the enemy is destroyed, the players have to use the ascend to go up toward the next in-game level at the end of the path.
Go up on the ladder, crouch down through the small opening, and turn toward the right before dropping down on the floor below. The players can crouch down in the game by pressing on the Left Thumbstick.
Before doing so, make sure you watch the position of your enemy, as it can hit you with a falling attack on your way down.
After destroying the same, go towards the right of the double doors to fight another similar type of enemy.
Open the treasure chest for 5 arrows, and then proceed through the double doors after opening the same with Ultrahand.
After this, you will have to deal with another set of laser grids. However, the laser grids in the Orochium Shrine in Zelda are avoidable. Ironically, you will have to drop down through this at the moment.
Also, make sure to stick down to the edge of the platform while you cross to let the floor open harmlessly before continuing to move further to open the green door. The players should have a small key to open this green door.
You would find two enemies descending on you, defeat them, and then double back and drop through the trapdoor.
Here, you would find yourself in a hallway with another laser grid. These laser beams are also avoidable, just like the first grid. You have to work your way through the end of the hallway by being patient and sticking to the side.
As soon as these horizontal lasers go high enough, you will have the opportunity to run under them. Waltz through the entire passage and then ascend on the other side to find the chest with the small key.
Again, cross the hallway with the lasers and climb through it to come out at the other end, right in front of the in-game green door. Open the door with that small key and grab the ball from inside.
Now carry the ball to the other side of the green door room. Either put your left or right step forward on the moving blue platform to mount towards the platform with the hole where the ball goes in.
Then, place the ball and grab the glider from the other side of the recently lowered gate.
Since you no longer want this gate open, grab the ball once more with the ultrahand and stick it to the glider.
Now place the glider on the rails by leading off the platform, hopping on the glider, and striking the fans to carry the ball and the Link together back to the entrance of the Orochium Shrine in Zelda, where you can place it in the hole to open the final gate.
Congratulations! After this step, you have successfully solved the Orochium Shrine in the Zelda quest.
At this stage, the players would be regarded with the Blessing of the Light, which can be used as a Goddess Statue to increase the health and stamina of the Link.
